Amelin's strike hitting the ground created a three-meter fissure, raising a cloud of dust.
Without waiting for even a second, Amelin turned the blade of her sword backward, cutting through the dust cloud, aiming for Kadia's head with the hilt of the sword.
Or so Amelin thought; the dust cloud vanished, and Kadia was holding the sword hilt in front of her face with just three fingers.
Kadia increased the force in her fingers, pushing, forcing Amelin to release the sword hilt, letting it fly away and embed itself into the ground.
"Now you've lost your weapon," Kadia quickly said, bringing her sword close to Amelin's neck, continuing, "Unlike me, so what will you do?"
"I haven't lost it, teacher; it's always with me," Amelin said, tilting her head to the side, letting her sword, now covered in mana, fly toward the teacher.
"Nice trick," Kadia said, flicking the sword hilt back at Amelin, while disappearing from her sight.
