"It's nothing." Wynonna's eyes shone as she immediately ended the conversation.
Although Elena had always seemed to look for her, she still didn't treat Elena as a close friend with whom she can share secrets. She didn't know why, but she had a natural wariness against Elena and just couldn't seem to get close to her.
Seeing that Elena seemed to still have questions, Jack immediately changed the subject. "Oh right, Wyn, your traditional birthday has already passed, but your Gregorian birthday is coming up in a few days, so is there anything that you really want?"
"There isn't anything particular that I really want; we can just gather for a meal together and go to the amusement park to hang out just like we used to in the past," Wynonna said after thinking.
