"How about my parents?" He asked not looking at his Beta in fear that any mistake from him could destroy Benzi completely.
"Don't worry about them, I found somewhere else safe for them and I also ensured that they left untracked." He explained and that seemed to have calmed him down a little.
Ever since his father was injured and him being forced to rule over the Pack as an Alpha, he had turned into a cold-blooded monster with a heart made of ice.
Hire help from outside, and ask Donald to bring in reinforcements. Donald was one of the werewolves from his Pack and he had joined the human territory as a military.
Having human reinforcement at such moments would work best for his Pack. Gael grabbed his black limousine keys and headed towards the door.
"Where the heck are you going at such a time?" Benzi the Beta asked worried.
"Blue Shells Pack needs someone to protect them." He answered throwing his coat on his back. Benzi was saddened by his way of handling things, just because of love he would leave his Pack Alpha Less and protect another Pack that had not just an Alpha king but also a Queen Luna and an Alpha daughter.
"Man you are taking things too far, we can ask Donald to give them reinforcements too. Besides, you know more than anyone else how bad your situation is at such times." He tried to remind him of how childish his decision was.
"I believe you are strong enough to protect the Pack in my absence no?" He disappeared in thin air not giving Benzi the chance to answer his question. At the underground parking lot, so many vehicles shined giving an impression of luxury. That is how hard his pack had worked to achieve their current success.
'Think about your goddamn choice and if in future you regret it, do not say I didn't warn you.' Benzi warned him one last time via the mind link in an attempt to make him change his mind but his eyes stayed glued to a disappearing vehicle.
He was worried about him and how he often turned beastly in such times. Having no choice, he only asked Donald for human reinforcements. He was nervous, the journey from the capital was way far and it would take two days for them to arrive at the Pack.
"I will check if any officers are roaming around the border." Werewolves had inhabited a place further away from the capitals and were living their secluded lives far away from the human world to avoid any confrontations.
//Gael, you have to come back right away, reinforcement is not a guarantee.// Benzi sent him the text when it was getting too late and soon the moon would take charge rendering all werewolves weak and unable to stand out any attacks.
He was nervous, he didn't know how the fuck he would protect the Pack from the combined forces of silver hunters and safety was no longer a guarantee.
'Gael, Gael.' Everything about his mind was Gael however, Benzi knew he wouldn't waste any more time waiting and thinking about Gael. He had to use the reverse psychology method to confuse the silver hunters.
Seeing no reinforcements, he summoned every member of the Pack and led them into the secret underground tunnel that led to a place not even he would ever have imagined existed if not for the fact that he was aware of its existence.
"Do not make any sounds and please protect the Cabs at all costs." He said handing over his Cab to his Beta mate Adriana. "Please be safe my love." He was already becoming vulnerable, he was gradually growing weak and he felt more human.
He looked at the traps he had set but didn't know whether or not it would be helpful. "I swear I hate you, Gael." He said taking his place with a few trained soldiers.
They couldn't just risk exposing all the werewolves to the risk of being executed, they were supposed to shield and protect their kind. Benzi knew of one thing and was about to take the risk.
He knew whoever shapeshifts into a werewolf just before the minute strikes when they were all vulnerable would not be able to take back their human form until it was done with.
Tiara on the other hand watched the video recording via the laptop. Benzi had seen it right to let her know at least something about their kind and how they were hated for no reason.
She had gone through the trouble of reading the articles about werewolves Benzi had given to her and somehow she regretted one thing.
She regretted believing that she was a mistake at creation when the moon goddess herself had given her a chance at life. She would protect those of her kind no matter what it takes but would she really go against her human keepers?
Tiara knew she had to leave that place but suddenly felt an inconvenient feeling that slowly weakened from time to time. Her limbs felt weak and she could no longer feel the second part of her. Kiara.
Tiara was shattered, is that how it ends, would she be able to seek justice for Kiara without her presence within her? She had to do something, she had to save her and protect her.
She muttered the short prayer she had managed to read from the book offered to her. "To the moon goddess, creator of all werewolves grant me my wish." She gave up all resistance and suddenly heard the chaos outside.
"Argh!" Groans of pain took over the entire area and she couldn't just wait as those of her kind were eliminated unfairly. If her kind wanted to fight the werewolves then she wouldn't have any problem if it was a chance at a fair battle.
Why the heck would they wait for the moment when they were so weak and vulnerable?
One thing Tiara didn't know was that she was the only surviving primordial werewolf. Her pack was the most feared with special abilities and it happened so quickly that an attack was carried out during the Alpha's absence. It was so brutal that the night of their execution became a public holiday to the entire nation.
Their special abilities were passed down to her including strength to stand out as a werewolf even in the night of the new moon because other than her, no other Omicron and the pure werewolf will ever exist in a millennium or until who knows when.
Her existence was not only a blessing to the werewolves but also a great curse and a threat to thier entire existence, yet it was so unknown to her.
