Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Sharing The Bad News

Ark One: Fate of Eostia Part Six

(Third Person POV)

When Crow spotted the others, he descended towards them and landed gracefully. He let go of Kushina. He then fell to his knees and was panting heavily.

"Crow!!" everyone shouted in worry and made their way over to him.

"Are you alright?" Mikasa asked, looking at him, concern in her eyes.

"Yeah, just a bit," Crow replied. He then slowly stood back up, but his legs shook uncontrollably, and not a moment later, he fell back to his knees. "Shit...ok, I lied. I'm exhausted as fuck. I don't think I'll be able to travel for the rest of the day," he admitted honestly.

"What happened?" Olga asked, frowning at Crow's current state.

Being knowledgeable about Lunarians, the dark elf beauty knew the likelihood of tiring one who was in pristine condition in a fight was nearly impossible unless the other party up their sleeves, so seeing Crow, who looked like he was about to pass out, was unnerving, to say the least.

"Got in a fight with two demons. I won but barely," Crow admitted with a grimace. "If it weren't for whatever transformation I went through, I would've died..."

"Transformation?" the dark elf questioned, narrowing her eyes slightly.

"When I was caught off guard, I got kicked in the side of the head by another demon. The hit nearly killed me; luckily, before I was about to die, I went under a transformation that increased my power five times over and healed my injuries," he revealed, making Olga's eyes slightly widen. "However, it only lasted around five minutes. Thankfully, I managed to kill the demons before the time was over."

"What did you look like?" Olga quickly asked, wanting to confirm something, and if it was true, it could change everything.

"His hair turned silverish white, his eyes glowed, he had a bright red moon-shaped mark on the right side of his face, and his veins were glowing white," Kushina answered, confirming the dark elf's theory and making her chuckle, bewildering everyone.

"My Queen?" Chole asked, looking at Olga with concern.

Calming down, Olga said. "I apologize. It's just that Kushina confirmed something for me."

"And that is?" Crow asked, quirking an eyebrow.

She looked him straight in the eyes. "While I don't recall it having a name, the transformation you underwent is only accessible to descendants of Foníx Fengári, the first king of the Lunarians," she revealed, shocking everyone.

"Holy shit! Dattabane!" Kushina exclaimed what everyone was thinking.

"Holy shit indeed," Crow agreed with the redhead. "Who would've thought I was royalty," he commented with an amused tone.

The more Crow learns about himself, the more he wishes he hadn't lost memories.

Olga chuckled at their reactions and continued with her explanation. "The first form you took not only changes your appearance and increases your physical abilities but also amplifies the potency of your flames."

Crow quirked an eyebrow. "First form?"

She nodded. "Indeed," she then frowned. "Unfortunately, I don't know much about the other two forms besides the increase in power that comes with them or how to awaken them," she sighed, making Crow frown.

Well, that sucks. The only person who knows the abilities and how to awaken the other forms would be another Lunarian with a similar bloodline.

He internally sighed.

Why couldn't things ever be easy?

Crow let out a sigh and shakily stood up. "Well, thats unfortunate. I want you guys to keep this information to yourselves until I learn more about my bloodline somehow..."

"You don't want to tell the others?" Mikasa asked, frowning.

Crow looked at her and nodded. "I don't see the point in telling them without all the facts. Plus, being a royalty is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things," he then walked towards the forest. "Now, let's go somewhere to camp for the day."

(Timeskip: Three days later)

Opening his eyes, Crow let a loud yawn. He slowly got up and stretched his body.

"I see you're finally awake," Crow looked to the left to see Olg and Chole sitting against a tree, with the former looking at him in amusement while the latter was sleeping on Olga's shoulder.

"Oh hey, Olga. How long was I out?" he asked curiously. He then noticed that Kushina and Mikasa were missing. "And where's the others?"

"To answer your first question, three days," she revealed, making his eyes widen in surprise.

"Holy shit...guess that transformation took a lot more out of me than I thought...also remind me to give it a name, I can't keep calling it transformation," he said with amused tone.

Olga chuckled. "Noted. As for your second question, Kushina and Mikasa went hunting for food."

"Ah, ok. Well, I better contact Celestine and let her know what's happening," Olga nodded.

Crow notified Celestine via snail that he and the others would arrive at Ken around the afternoon. She was happy to hear from him and said she'd be at the castle grounds to welcome him back.

Once it was time to leave, Crow created a wagon for everyone to sit in and place their belongings. When everyone was ready, the Lunarian lifted the wagon and took off into the sky.

(Timeskip) Location: Ken, White Citadel

When the group was within the castle grounds, Crow smiled as he heard two very familiar voices. He turned to see Celestine, Claudia, and his two girlfriends rushing toward him at speeds that would make King green with envy.

"CROW!!!" Uta and Ulti screamed happily in unison as they nearly slammed into him, hugged the teen tightly, and assaulted his face with kisses.

Celestine, Claudia, and Olga smiled at the sight. Meanwhile, Mikasa, Chole, and Kushina looked slightly annoyed by the sight.

Crow chuckled. "I missed you guys too," he gently hugged his beautiful girlfriends and kissed their foreheads.

He let out a blissful sigh and inwardly hoped he never had to be away from his girls for this long ever again, as being away from them was agonizing dull.

"I miss you more," Uta buried her face into his side. "You have no idea how worried we were about you."

"Yeah, so could you kindly hurry the fuck up the next time you go on a mission," Ulti remarked in a loving yet harsh tone. She broke the hug, looked at the Lunarian with narrowed eyes, and placed her hands on her hips. "We've been stuck in that castle for nearly three weeks with barely anything to do."

Uta sighed and reluctantly broke the hug with Crow.

The singer looked at the Oni unamusedly and crossed her arms under her bust. "Did you forget Celestine and the others have tried doing things with us?"

The Oni scoffed. "Yeah, boring, girly shit. Do I look like a prissy girly bitch?" she replied, not caring in the slightest that said person was literally a few meters away from her.

Claudia narrowed her eyes at Ulti's disrespectful behavior and was about to say something, but Celestine stopped her.

"No, but you sure act like you are," Uta snidely remarked.

"WHAT WAS THAT YOU FUCKING WALKING CANDY CANE?!" Ulti glared at the shorter girl.

"Nothing," Uta replied, feigning ignorance and smiling innocently.

"Bull fucking shit!" Ulti growled.

Crow smiled and shook his head in amusement at his girlfriend's antics, but the Lunarian did feel bad about leaving the duo here as they most definitely gave Celestine and the others a hard time.

"Well, aren't you two quite colorful?" Olga commented with an amused tone.

Everyone looked at her. Some were surprised to see her, some were scared, some were angry, while others...

"Who the fuck are you?" Ulti asked the dark elf rudely, making everyone who wasn't Mikasa, Kushina, Uta, and Crow gasp in horror.

Crow could only sigh as he should've seen that coming a mile away. He loved Ulti, but he wished she wouldn't be so crass and blunt at times.

Chole growled in anger at the Oni's disrespect towards her Queen and was about to retort but stopped when Olga held her hand up.

"I'm Olga Discordia," she replied, not bothered by how Ulti talked to her. "And who might you be?"

"Ulti, one of his girlfriends," she gestured to Crow.

"I see," she looked at Uta. "And you?"

Uta smiled. "I'm Uta and also one of Crow's girlfriends," the singer introduced politely.

Olga looked at the Lunarian and smirked. "You sure do know how to pick them."

"Not wrong," he chuckled.

The dark elf then locked eyes with Celestine, and everyone went quiet. The two looked at each other expressionless for five seconds until the high elf broke the silence.

"Olga."

"Celestine."

"It's been a long time, how've you been?"

Olga hummed. "Oh, you know, been ruling a kingdom and fighting against humans for centuries. Nothing too serious," she replied in a snarky yet playful tone. "How about you? Anything interesting, well, besides allying with him, of course," she gestured to Crow.

Celestine smiled at her old friend's playful attitude. "I guess I could say the same, except I was fighting against monsters and...an old friend. However...I want to change that."

"I'm well aware of that, but before we talk about that, why don't we take this discussion elsewhere?" Olga suggested, and Celestine nodded in agreement.

(Timeskip)

Everyone, including the Shield Alliance members, was in the meeting room, and to say things were tense was an understatement.

Alica, Claudia, Kaguya, and Maia glared at the dark elves, and Chole glared back at them. Olga just ignored them and looked at Celestine with a blank look, and the latter did the same. Prim was nervous about how things would go between both sides. Mikasa and Kushina were stoic and calm. Crow, Uta, and Ulti just wanted to get the fuck out of here already.

Ulti sighed in annoyance. "So ya'll gonna fucking talk or what? Uta and I would like to fuck Crow already," the Oni said without a hint of shame.

Everyone besides Crow and Ulti blushed furiously at her blunt remark, and the Lunarian did his best to contain his laughter by fake coughing.

"Do you even know the meaning of a filter?" Chole asked Ulti incredulously, doing her damnest to fight her blush.

"Nope!" she chirped. "Filters are for pussies."

Celestine fake coughed to get everyone's attention. "ANYWAYS, we're all here to discuss two things: the raid on the Black Citedal and our two guests," she looked at Crow with an elegant smile. "Crow, could you please tell us everything that happened on your mission?"

The Lunarian nodded and then went into detail about everything that happened. He told about the battle, how he defeated the dark elves, Olga's abilities, Kushina being a Beast Pirate spy, and lastly, got to Vult's betrayal.

"BULLSHIT! VULT WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!" Maia slammed her fit on the table.

"MAIA, RESTRAINT YOURSELF!" Claudia ordered the redhead. "Allow the Lunarian to finish."

"I expected this would happen, so I brought evidence," Crow pulled out his snail. "Listen to this," he played to the voice recording, and after it finished, all the Shield Alliance couldn't believe what they heard.

"That can't be true..." Maia weakly denied the evidence. "He was a hero..."

"He was never a hero," Crow said coldly. "He was just a wolf disguised as a shepherd," he sighed. "However, that's not the worst of it," he told them about Vult being allied with demons and his encounter with them shocking everyone but the dark elves, Kushina and Mikasa even more.

To prove his claim, he pulled out the demonic weapons, and Celestine instantly backed away, knowing what they were.

"He's not lying," Celestine said with a dry voice. "I can feel the demonic power coming them," she confirmed, making all the Shield Alliance members grimace.

"This is terrible...we just got out of a war, and now we have to prepare for another one," Prim said in a sad tone. "And to make matters worse, demons are involved."

Alicia gave her a comforting pat on her shoulder. "Don't worry too much, Prim. This war won't be as long as the last one. We have Crow and his allies to help us. The Black Dogs and the Demons don't stand a chance."

"Yeah, but there's a slight issue: without divine or demonic weapons, the demons can't be killed," he pointed out, making everyone frown. "I learned that the hard way."

"I could help with that," Celestine chimed in. "Just give me the weapons you want to be blessed, and I'll get started on them immediately."

Crow nodded thankfully and added. "I'll also need enchanted armor. I nearly got killed fighting those damn demons," he growled.

Celestine nodded in agreement. They couldn't afford to lose Crow as he was too valuable as an ally. He was also a friend, lover, and soon-to-be father. She wouldn't be able to forgive herself if something happened to him.

"I'll ensure I have everything you require within a few days," the high elf promised. "Is there anything else before we change the topic?"

"Yeah, you guys also have traitors," Crow revealed, as it was the best time to tell them.

The news shocked and disheartened them even more. The Lunarian then gave Celestine the list of people who betrayed them.

Celestine read off the list of names, and everyone was devasted about who the traitors were, especially Alicia and Claudia, considering how close they were to the traitors.

Once all the SSA members were recollected, they continued the meeting and discussed how they'd deal with the traitors.

After that, they talked about why the dark elves were there.

"You can't be serious, your grace! She's committed too many horrendous crimes to be forgiven!" Alicia argued.

"We're not saying to forgive her because I know I certainly wouldn't if I were in your shoes, but unless you guys put your differences aside, winning this war ain't gonna be possible," Crow shot back. "Like it or not, we need Olga's aid. She can create a large and strong army within a short time frame; she's a powerful mage and fighter," his statement caused Olga to smirk triumphantly at the blonde, who grimaced as she knew he was right.

"He's right," Lulu replied. "There's only so much Crow and his allies can do and so many places they can be..." the halfling sighed. "I may not like it, but we need them."

"Agreed," Claudia said.

After a bit of debating, everyone eventually agreed to ally with the dark elves, much to the relief of Crow and his allies.

Celestine turned to the dark elves and asked. "So, will you and your handmaiden aid us?"

"I'll stand by whatever my Queen decides," Chole replied.

Everyone then looked at Olga, who thought for a moment and replied. "It's not like I have much of a choice besides..." she looked at Crow and smirked mischievously. "What kind of wife would I be if I didn't assist and fight beside my soon-to-be husband?" she said in a saucy yet playful tone.

The room was quiet for a moment, but the silence was soon broken.

"Bitch, what?"

Crow glared at the former dark queen, who smiled sweetly at him.

Yeah, she was getting it later...

End.
