Chapter 2 - Kamael

"Uh, stop yelling, I'm right next to you."

A voice echoed in the young boy's ear, an extremely soft and seductive whisper. The boy flinched to then quickly take several steps back quickly. His head glanced around, to focus his attention on one person, a woman....

The woman appeared to be around twenty-five years old, her long hair was flowing to her waist, her hair was a scarlet red color that cascaded down. A pair of emerald eyes looked curiously at the boy, who now looked at the woman with horror.

After all, she had just appeared out of nowhere as if she were a ghost How could he not be frightened? It didn't matter to him that the woman had a beautiful face, what mattered most to me was that she didn't try to kill him.

The woman then stood up, showing her perfect figure, looking like some kind of Goddess of war with those fierce eyes and hair that seemed to be fire itself. She approached the boy, who froze in his position, the young man began to feel a great pressure strong enough to hold him in position.

"What is your name, little one?"

The woman spoke after standing only centimeters away from the boy, because of the height difference (she is 1.67 meters tall) the boy had to look up to see her eyes.

The young man hesitated for a moment, lasted several seconds and then broke the silence himself.

"Uh... Miss, I don't remember my name"

It was true, he tried to remember his name but whenever he tried to remember, it gave him a certain headache, everything he remembered was blurry, the only thing he remembered was what happened when he killed those goblins, and also....

"I am one of the princes of the Imperial Zinnober Clan, but, I don't remember my name."

That was the only thing he remembered, being one of the princes of the mighty Zinnober Imperial Clan, one of the pillar forces of the world. But from then on, he didn't remember anything. Besides, for some reason he felt the need to trust that woman, to talk honestly with her.

"Hahaha, how cute, a beautiful boy who is lost and I don't remember his name, I feel like I'm living in a fairy tale."

The woman replied cheerfully, she won't even mind that the one in front of her was a prince, and not just any prince, an Imperial Prince.

The woman smiled playfully as she put a finger to her chin looking thoughtful. The young man did not want to interrupt the pensive lady so he just stood there looking at her. A while later, she said:

"You will be called Kamael, yes, so be it, Lord Kamael sounds good."

The woman's smile widened and she puffed out her chest as she finished her words, she looked happy and proud for creating such a great name. On the other hand, the now Kamael looked in shock for a few moments.

'Lord, Lord Kamael, why would it be Lord?' The same question kept haunting him, so without wasting much time, he decided to ask the woman.

"Why would I be Lord, am I not too young to be called Lord?" commented Kamael confused by what he was being called.

The woman did not answer his question and just smiled, as she slowly walked away from the place, her light emerald green robes sometimes flying in the air in the wind.

Kamael was frustrated by the woman not answering his question, but quickly began to follow her. After all, he didn't want to spend the rest of his life in a completely dark place, he would rather take a small chance that the woman would be good at heart and let him go soon.

The two walked in silence, with the mysterious girl in front and Kamael behind, letting her lead the way, several minutes passed in awkward silence, though Kamael could sense that the woman was still smiling broadly. Not holding back the urge to ask, in the end the young man fell into his own curiosity.

"Miss, could you tell me what your name is?"

Silence.

After Kamael finished speaking, the lady stopped walking and a terrifying silence settled in the atmosphere. Slowly the woman turned to Kamael, looking him straight in the eyes, this time not with a happy or playful smile, this time she had a solemn expression.

Kamael felt that all the organs of his body were going to come out if he tried to speak or move his body, so he could only look at the girl with eyes that reflected his fear, although also within those eyes that looked at her with fear, there was a hint of admiration and determination, determination to become strong, he did not know why he felt that way, but the pressure that she exerted, he wanted to do it too, he wanted to show that he was also strong.

The woman continued to stare at him for a few minutes, before turning again and continuing on her course, in that same interval of actions, she uttered a few words:

"Esmeralda Von Crimson"
