'Esmeralda Von Crimson' repeated Kamael in his mind, at this point only a few seconds had passed since the woman had revealed her name, but, there was something that the young Kamael was still bothering him.
'Why does that name sound so familiar' 'What is she really about me' 'Why can't I remember anything'?'
Question after question kept gnawing at the boy's mind and in the end, he gave up, he couldn't remember anything and felt that if he asked the woman, she could either ignore him or kill him right there and then.
Esmeralda just walked, leading the way for Kamael to follow. Seconds passed, which turned into minutes or minutes turned into hours, but, Esmeralda was still walking.
In that time Kamael looked all around him, he did not seem very tired, just curious because, despite the hours they had been walking, everything was still exactly the same, only that the darkness that surrounded them was deeper and deeper, he could no longer see anything within 10 meters of him. In spite of that, he did not complain or get upset, on the contrary, he enjoyed being surrounded by darkness as if it were his home, as if it were part of himself.
After 4 hours of walking, Esmeralda finally stopped in front of a house, more like a hut, all made of wood and was two stories high. Despite being located in a very strange place, it was very nice and big, only, it didn't even have a window and also around the hut there were strange black symbols, strangely it was the only place where the moonlight reached, making it look mysterious.
"Come" Emerald's voice snapped Kamael out of his daze, following Emerald who was heading for the door of the hut which she quickly opened and slipped inside.
Kamael followed her without any trouble, but, he would soon regret it.
*Drumming noise*.
The boy fell to the ground, it wasn't a thud, he didn't faint from hunger, he fell from pressure, pressure from someone or something, he could only lie there, on his knees to the ground unable to get up.
"Get up, that's nothing you can't handle" Esmeralda, who was now in front of Kamael, could only look at him with amusement on her face.
Kamael could only stand there, not even being able to look into her emerald green eyes, and though he tried, he could not get up, he could not even move a muscle in his body.
Gradually, the pressure eased, allowing Kamael to stand up and look at Esmeralda with hatred in his eyes.
"What, I had to show the difference between us, like heaven and earth, so you can learn that I'm a hell of a lot stronger than you " replied the redhead feigning innocence, her eyes looked at the little boy in front of her with feigned innocence, but the glint of amusement in her eyes gave her away.
"Hump, now that you have proven to be much stronger than me, what will you do then?" replied Kamael staring at Esmeralda with a frown.
A silence settled in as a smile blossomed on the redhead's face, gradually the smile turned into a wide grin that looked at Kamael with insurmountable amusement.
"Easy, now, you'll live through hell."
"Huh? What?" shouted Kamael confused and somewhat horrified, the words coming out of the redhead scared him to the core and he could only shrink more and more in fear: "As I said, you will now live through hell, Lord Kamael."
