Lilly looked at Willam and said with a smile, "So technically you're the inheritor of Alban Robillard."
William felt a rush of excitement coursing through his whole body. He knew this sword was powerful and could make him powerful but to be an inheritor of one of the strongest beings was something he never even imagined.
He took a deep breath to calm down. He was letting his emotions take control over him and that wasn't good.
"Anyways, now tell me about you. We're going to be together for a while so we should know each other." Lilly said as she yawned and while doing that showed her two mounds of flesh hidden underneath the thin T-shirt.
Willam's eyes stuck on the heavenly sight as he just looked at them. He then shook his head with a blush on his face as she looked away, 'What am I doing?'
Lilly smiled but didn't say anything about that. She again asked, "Hey! Are you here?"
William coughed to hide his embarrassment and said, "We're going to be together?"
"Of course, why are you asking such a silly question. You must have guessed by now that I have some connections with Veloxithans and you're right about that. So I need to look after the new owner of this sword right?" Lilly mused. "Besides, it's the first time the sword has chosen someone after 200 years so I don't want you to die, after all, I want to see the true might of Omnisword."
Willam nodded and sighed. He had never shared his past with anyone and he was hesitant about it. But Lilly was also right, they're going to be together so they should know about each other. Besides, he also wanted to vent his piled-up frustration.
He nodded to himself and said, "My name is Willam Verley, a former member of the Verley clan of Fadrex City, or should I say I never even was a member of that clan."
He smiled wryly and began to explain, "My father, Clan Head of Verley Clan, wanted to make his clan even bigger and powerful so he devised a plan. A plan that would connect his clan with one of the main clans in Soal City which is one of the main cities of our state."
Willam looked at Lilly and asked, "You know about our state right?"
Lilly shook her head and replied, "Zero clue."
"Hmm, thought so. You seem like an outsider to me, especially since you have connections with Veloxithans." Willam nodded and said, "Well, Corenta is the name of our state. It is one of the 30 states of the Nalan kingdom."
"In this Corenta State, there are 52 cities and countless towns and villages under them. Some of these cities are called main cities because they're a focus hub of something in the state."
Willam laughed lightly and continued, "With this, you can understand the position of my paternal clan and maternal clan. My father's plan was simple, he would marry the daughter of one of the clans of the main cities which would boost his clan."
"So he went after my mother, he made her fall in love with her and secretly married her. Because he knew my mother's clan wouldn't agree on that. So after that, he announced his marriage in the hope that my grandfather would yield."
Lilly said in between, "And I'm guessing it went opposite."
Willam nodded and said, "Yes, and that's what caused my father to get frustrated. Then he tried another approach, he made my mother pregnant and then I was born."
He sighed and continued, "But even that didn't work and in fact, it made my grandfather even more enraged and he ordered my execution because he thought I was a disgrace"
"My father didn't have a problem with it. Since my existence wasn't giving him any benefits, he simply agreed to that order, hoping it would please my grandfather."
Lilly got curious in the story and got close to Willam and asked, "How did you survive then?"
Willam could feel her hot breath tickling his skin and making his heartbeat even faster. He tried to concentrate on the story and said, "Well my mother defended me. She begged my grandfather and he agreed to let me live, but only if I was thrown aside in the countryside. And well that's how I'm here, barely managing to get food."
Lilly sighed as she backed away. She said, "The world is as cruel as ever."
She then looked at William and asked, "And the whole curse thing?"
He shrugged and replied, "Probably the work of some assassin so nobody would help me. I know it because this is how my grandfather is, for him his reputation is everything so he doesn't want someone like me to have his blood."
Lilly hummed and went silent as she looked in the sky.
"Does my story satisfy your curiosity?" William asked as he looked at her.
"Yeah, somewhat." Lilly said as turned to look at him, "Though I'm still bothered by your cubby body."
Willam scratched the back of the neck in embarrassment and said, "Well, I wasn't really this fat previously. But I don't know what happened, I'm just becoming a fatty."
Lilly shook her head and said, "No, not that. You're still cute with your chubby body. I'm just feeling something amiss with it."
She continued to look at his fat body and asked, "Can I check your body?"
Willam backed away as he looked at her weirdly. Lilly rolled her eyes and smacked his head, "Ouch! What was that for?"
"For having weird thoughts. I'm just asking you to check your body if there's anything wrong with it. Just give me your hand." Lilly said with a smile.
"Umm, sorry about that and sure, you can check it. I only my bloodline as my secret anyways." Willam said as he put his right hand forward.
Lilly nodded while poked her finger at his hand and closed her eyes.
