[A/N:- I've been busy these days so sorry for not editing]
The Cowe Town had the traditional outer walls, with high and wide walls with a entrance gate at the bottom. There were two guards standing on either side of the gate wearing metal armour.
If Lilly remembered it right they were called knights.
Lilly easily entered the Cowe Town with Dave and looked around the buildings.
The town was big and a commercial place with many buildings made all around the town. It was a bustling place filled with people going on with their works.
Lilly had to say she was impressed by this world. It's just been 200 years since the world restarted and they had developed the world to the level that she thought was impossible.
Although mos of the technology here lacked in comparison to Earth, there were many things in which Earth couldn't even compare to this world.
This was a fantasy world after all.
The buildings here were just one or two story tall here, except some building which stood out from all over the town. Like the big manor which could seen from all around the town.
Dave and Lilly walked as she observed everything. She was just following Dave as he was leading her towards the branch of Salo company.
She wasn't in the need of money but what she had would definitely overwhelm the people here, so it was better to take the rewards from Salo company.
Soon they stood in front of a two story building upon which a plaque hung at the top. 'Salo' was written on that plaque in a stylish pattern.
Dave entered the building and informed the clerk working there. Lilly didn't care about that so she just waited for everything to settle down.
After a few minutes he came back with a mixture of excited and embarassed look on his face.
He came towards her and scratched his cheek, he said, "It looks like Salo company is as arrogant as ever."
Lilly understood and said, "Don't worry about it, I also don't want to spend my time here so it's even better."
Dave sighed in relief, fortunately Lilly didn't get angry on their behaviour. His eyes then lit up as he his hand forward and said, "But they stand on their words, they had given quite a good reward for you."
Lilly extended her hand and took the coin from Dave's hand. It was a circular coin made of gold.
She played with the gold coin and thought, 'Well it's better than using platinum or royal coins anyways.'
Dave felt bitter seeing how Lilly was regarding the gold coin, as if it was nothing valuable but just a cheap stone found on streets. But he didn't say anything.
He shook his head and said, "I'm sorry miss but I'll have to travel with Salo company back to the trucks."
Lilly waved her hand said with a smile, "Haha, don't worry about it and thanks for everything till now."
Dave got flustered and hurriedly said, "N-No, it should be me thanking you. Thanks for saving me and my team."
He bowed while saying.
"No worries, also can you tell where the Adventurers Guild is? I'm rather curious."
"Oh, it's that way, you'll just have to...." Dave explained the direction and then excused himself.
Lilly then followed those direction towards the Adventurers Guild. She of course attracted the crowd's attention but since nobody came to find trouble she also didn't do anything. She was quite happy about that.
Soon she found the Adventurers Guild which was a three-story building with a big signboard on top of it.
Lilly's face turned strange seeing the sign used by Adventurers Guild. It was a cross between a sword and arkha. She didn't want to think about it so she was ignored the sign and entered the building through the wooden door.
Upon entering the big hall she again attracted people's attention. Everyone looked curiously at the beauty they had never seen in the town before. Some began making their plans for this beauty.
Lilly could feel all type of gazes, from lustful to curious, everything. She just wished that nobody would disturb her, she wasn't in the mood of faceslapping now. Although she would love that too.
[Your thoughts are contradictory mistress.]
Lilly ignored Zane and walked towards one of two receptionist. This branch of Adventurers Guild wasn't big so two receptionist would suffice.
She smiled at the mature woman working as a receptionist and said, "Hi I would like to register as an adventurer."
The receptionist looked up at Lilly and was rather surprised but she was a professional so she said with a smile, "Sure thing, you just have to fill your information and pay the fees of 10 silver coins and you'll be registered as an adventurer."
The Adventurers Guild was a big organisation, something at continental level. They had many adventurers registered and dying everyday so they didn't really care about people's identity.
They just need money from adventurers, in the form of registration fees, commission in quests and many more.
That's why the receptionist didn't ask much from Lilly and directly told the conditions.
Lilly nodded and pushed the gold coin on the receptionist's desk. The woman was surprised seeing someone using gold coins but as usual, she didn't say anything and accepted the gold coin. After that she returned her the change of 90 silver coin.
This world had the usual monetary system. They used coins made of bronze, silver, gold and platinum. There were also royal coins but well as the name suggested it wasn't anyone could afford.
Smallest currency was bronze coins, then silver coins. 1 silver coin consisted of 100 bronze coins. The same for gold coins and silver coins with 100 silver coins making 1 gold coin.
In platinum coins it changed, 1000 coins making a single platinum coin. This was the reason Lilly didn't wanted to use the money she had.
First of all she never had the use of money and even the money she had made up platinum coins and royal coins.
Lilly shook her thoughts away and took the 90 silver coins back.
