[Third POV]
Currently, Lilly and Robb were flying across the skies at a fast speed.
Apparently, the nearby city that Robb spoke of wasn't so nearby. They had been flying for some time and only now left the almost endless grass fields. They were now flying above a dense forest of tall trees.
'Or maybe he's just enjoying the ride,' Lilly thought. She had never really seen the full speed of Robb, so she was doubtful of his current speed.
Nevertheless, she didn't say anything as she was also enjoying the ride; the wind hitting her face was refreshing.
They traveled for some more time when Robb suddenly said, "Hmm, we'll reach the city in no time. I can already see it."
Lilly narrowed her eyes as she looked in the distance. Her eyesight wasn't as impressive as Robb's, but she could make out a faint outline of city walls.
"Hmm, did you inspect the city when you discovered it?" Lilly asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"What was the level of the strongest person there?"
"Hmm, the strongest person in the city is the city lord, who is at Tier 5," Robb replied thoughtfully.
Lilly turned her head and gave a deadpan look to Robb.
"What?"
"Mr. Robb, what are you trying to do?"
"Hmm? I'm bringing you to the city."
"By flying!! What are you gonna do? Land directly there surprising everyone?" Lilly yelled in his ear.
Robb, though, just shrugged; it won't really matter to him much.
Lilly sighed and said, "Robb, you know the ability to fly is only possible for those at Tier 10 and above. If you directly land in the city where the strongest is tier 5, they'll think you as a god or something, and I want to keep a low profile, well, as much as we can."
Lilly didn't really want to stand out too much; she had already experienced that life. Now she wanted to experience a rather normal life.
"Fine then, we'll walk from here," Robb said and dropped Lilly from his arms.
As they were flying quite high, Lilly began to fall to the ground. She had just reached Tier 8, so she didn't have the ability to fly. But she wasn't panicking; she had a calm face as she directed her body skillfully towards the ground.
She then let herself freefall while closing her eyes and enjoying the skydiving. She only opened her eyes when the ground was very close.
She then manipulated the wind around her to balance her body and also slow her down. It was quite easy for her.
Her mother was an Elemental Phoenix, someone who could control every element, and Lilly had inherited her bloodline so she could use every element.
She would be an Elemental Phoenix like her mother, but she also inherited her father's Chaos Devouring Dragon bloodline. This made her race a whole different race, a race that even her father didn't know.
It was a strange and new race, but it didn't provide her with any benefits, and there also weren't anything harmful. That's why her father ignored her race.
'Now that I remember, I actually ignored my race in my status; what was it again?' Lilly asked in her mind.
[Race: Primeval (Sealed)]
'Primeval? What's that? Is that something formed because I have the bloodline of both dragon and Phoenix?' Lilly thought, 'And I didn't get any benefits because it was sealed huh, probably because I'm weak.'
The birth rate in Dragon was too low, and the same goes for Phoenix. It was hard for them to reproduce even among themselves, so a child between a dragon and Phoenix was something impossible or so people thought until Lilly was born.
Although her brothers were also the child of dragon and Phoenix, others didn't believe it because they didn't have both Bloodlines. So people thought they are the child of her parents with someone else.
Of course, her parents didn't even bother correcting them; they were too lazy and proud to actually give an explanation to others.
Lilly shook off those thoughts and, using her wind, she gracefully landed on a big rock. She then jumped from the rock and landed on the hard ground.
'The city was in that direction...' Lilly then began running as she easily maneuvered through the dense forest.
'Agh, these vines are troublesome,' Lilly thought in annoyance as she jumped over another thick vine.
She then jumped and landed on a thick branch of a tree and made her way towards the city by jumping around the trees.
She wasn't doing this previously because Robb would tease her, calling her a monkey. She knew he was watching over her.
Robb had been like this since her childhood, something about that he was her Shadow or something. That's why she was traveling alone for now, knowing he was following her.
She was getting close to that city when she heard some noises in the silent forest. She got curious and changed her direction towards the source of noise.
Lilly jumped on a few trees and landed on a thick branch of a tall tree. The branch had enough space for her to comfortably stand. She stood on the branch and looked at the drama unfolding before her.
On the ground below, by the side of the trees, a paved road was there. On the road were two big trucks surrounded by 10 men, all having vicious expressions and tattoos on their bodies.
Bandits.
They were clearly here to attack and loot the items in the trucks. There were also five individuals who were trying to guard the trucks, but the situation didn't seem to favor them.
They were clearly on the losing side, and it could be seen from their faces.
Lilly pondered whether she should help them or not. But then she thought that she would be alone in the city, and someone to explain things would be nice, and if she saved these people, maybe they'll tell her about everything, well, if they aren't ungrateful, that is.
Making her decision, Lilly jumped from the tree.
