Lilly again looked at William and sighed. She had completely forgotten about the side effects a normal person would have in front of such a presence.
She raised her hand and smacked William's head, this time it wasn't lightly. She had to do it if she wanted to bring back the clarity of Willam.
And her solution worked as Willam awoke from the strange daze he was in. He shook his head and repeatedly closed and opened his eyes.
He began groaning as he rubbed the back of his head, he said, "Aghh! It hurts."
Lilly scratched her cheek in embarrassment and said, "Sorry about that."
Willam got confused and turned to look at Lilly while still rubbing his head. Lilly didn't hold back when she smacked him. It was just enough to break his head.
