The fiery crescent clashed with the lunar whirlwind, creating a tumultuous dance of elements in the air. Kane's Searing Crescent Kick battled against Dorothy's Lunar Cyclone Fury!, each force pushing against the other.
The searing flames of Kane's kick wrestled with the ethereal lunar energy, and the clash emitted sizzling and crackling sounds. Dorothy's claws moved with precision, attempting to cut through the fiery wave, while Kane adjusted his trajectory, seeking a breach in Dorothy's lunar defenses.
"Die!" Kane growled as pushed his hands behind him, releasing a series of powerful explosions that propelled his body forward.
Bang!
With the additional force, he was able to break through Dorothy's defense, his blazing leg tearing through her cyclone and ramming into her head.
Dorothy fell like a meteor descending from the heavens, crashing into the ground head first. The impact was loud and chaotic, raising a body of dust over Dorothy.
Students rushed out of the classrooms, shocked to see Kane standing over the cloud of dust with a frown on his face.
Slowly the dust cleared revealing Dorothy's figure struggling to rise but falling repeatedly. Her face was smeared with blood, giving the students a picture of a weak woman, contrary to the image of a powerful hunter Dorothy tried to paint in their heads.
"Y-young master…" she muttered in pain, stretching out her hand to Derek.
As long as Derek intervenes they won't kill her immediately. She would still have a chance to escape during or before her trial. All she needed was an opportunity and Derek was the only one who could give her that opportunity.
"..." Derek looked away, unwilling to be dragged into this issue for a mere beta.
Dorothy's eyes widened in shock. She wanted to say more but then she noticed someone standing over her. With great effort, she looked up only to see Kane with a blazing fist.
"Please don't…"
Boom!

In the infirmary, Sol was seated on a hospital cot with a bandage wrapped around his head where he got cut due to his fall. The entire time Instructor Ethan stood there, observing Sol. For some reason, he believed Dorothy's words that Sol set her up but no one cares about the actions behind the result.
All they needed to know was that she harmed an heir, nothing else matters.
Bang.
The door swung open and two figures rushed in. One was Kane Ark and the other was Old Man Chamberlain. The fury in his old steward's eyes was reassuring for some reason and Sol appreciated it.
"Instructor Dorothy?" Sol asked with a raised eyebrow.
"She was defeated by Master Kane. Her limbs are broken." The Old Steward said. "She is being transported to the Ark Territory as we speak. Following the laws of this land, she has been handed over to us and only you can decide her final punishment."
Sol couldn't help but smile cruelly. With this, the slaver has become the slave and her life is in his hands but Sol has no intentions of letting her live.
"The werewolf family has extended an apology for Dorothy's actions. They plan to compensate you in any way you deem fit." The old steward said while his eyes scanned Sol's body.
"Good." Sol smiled. Dealing with Dorothy was just a byproduct of his plans.
His main target has always been the Shape-shifter in the cage.
"I would like to have the Shape-shifter, Dorothy dragged into the class today. " Sol said to Instructor Ethan. "Also before I got attacked I was meant to be awarded a few points after answering a few questions. It won't be fair if I end up losing that also due to her actions."
Hearing this Ethan didn't know if he should laugh or frown. Sol was laying down demands as if he had prepared beforehand. This kid isn't even trying to hide his intentions from them.
At this point, he couldn't help but remember the feeling he got from Sol during their class. This further proves his point about Sol, this kid is definitely not the prey!
"I'll let the board know of your demands." Instructor Ethan said with a light bow before leaving the room.
As soon as Ethan was gone, Sol shifted his attention to Instructor Kane and a friendly smile spread across his face.
"You saved my life today," Sol said in a calm tone.
Hearing this Kane fell to one knee with his head lowered.
"I was simply fulfilling my duty as a loyal member of the Ark family." He said.
Hearing this Sol nodded in understanding and a smile spread across his face.
"It's good to know I still have allies within the family," Sol said as his eyes exposed his crafty thoughts. " I thought everyone outside the main family would be on the side of the Kahi'k."
Hearing this, Instructor Kane turned pale and hastily responded.
"My family will forever be loyal to the House of Ark. We will never turn our backs on it, regardless of the situation." He said.
"I see… Tell me, what do you want as your reward?" Sol asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I want nothing but for your Highness to be in good health." Instructor Kane responded quickly.
'This man…' Sol's eyes flashed with cruelty but it vanished the next moment.
Sol didn't believe that anything in this world was free. Even a peasant would help a king in hopes of something in return. Even if they delude themselves into believing they want nothing, they always have a request at the back of their mind that they are unwilling to bring forward.
"Speak freely and tell me what you want or you may never get this chance again." Sol's stern voice made instructor Kane shiver.
He quickly looked up only to see a cold look on Sol's face. The man retreated and fell on both knees, planting his head on the floor.
"Please, please, take my daughter under your wings!" He screamed with a lot of passion, leaving Sol and the old steward shocked.
No one expected such a request.
