A brief silence returned to the forest as Jane and Charles exchanged glances as they felt shocked. They knew the journey to the boundaries of the Azure peaks and back to the city was not something that could be accomplished in one day, especially with all the dangers of the forest.
The thought of one person moving through such a long distance alone at the active hours of the forest made them shiver. Wasn't that a bit too dangerous for students like them?
"You surely can't complete that by today." Jane protested, concern etched on her face but Luke didn't seem to understand the reason behind their behavior.
"I was never planning on completing it today." Luke responded with a shoulder shrug, his words worsening the confusion Jane and Charles felt.
