Chapter 82 - Chapter 82: The Eyepatch-Wearing Witch Loli

While the bald, portly man lay unconscious, Zhang Fan and Mea thoroughly searched the room but found no substantial evidence to incriminate the crime syndicate. Perhaps interrogating the bald man was the next best course of action?

"Let's take him with us for now," Mea decided, after a moment's hesitation, upon seeing Zhang Fan's questioning gaze.

"Leave? But since you're here, why not enjoy my hospitality?" As Zhang Fan prepared to carry the unconscious man away, a girl's voice suddenly echoed in the room. The hostess? But she sounded rather young, didn't she?

"It's you! Katz Glas! You despicable vermin, still alive?" To Zhang Fan's disbelief, the sweet and gentle nun was speaking these words. It appeared Mea recognized this person. Could they be archenemies?

Zhang Fan looked closely and saw a girl, about thirteen or fourteen years old, standing before them. She was cloaked in a black velvet robe, wearing a black pointed hat, with a raven perched on her shoulder. Calling such a cute loli a vile vermin seemed incredulous to Zhang Fan. Could Mea be a fanatical believer? The Vatican was known for its extremists who utterly denounced all heretics, and this girl's classic witch attire was not helping her case.

Wait, the red eyepatch over the girl's left eye bore a familiar symbol – a tilted swastika. Nazi?

"Hmph! If you, a hypocrite, are still alive, why should I be dead? How daring of you to invade my stronghold. You're walking into your own demise," the eyepatch-wearing loli retorted coldly, her maturity and iciness belying her age.

"Damn it, it's you who's seeking death! You abominations tarnish this world simply by existing. Neither the New Testament, the Old Testament, nor the Apocrypha provide any reason for your existence! I will burn you with holy fire on the day of atonement, scatter your remains in different rivers, ensuring you plummet into hell for eternity!" Mea's visage turned ferocious, affirming Zhang Fan's suspicion of her dual personality.

"Who will perish is yet to be determined!" The eyepatch-wearing loli smirked, summoning a dozen men armed with submachine guns. It was clear she was prepared for their arrival.

"Is there a traitor among us, or did the news leak?" Zhang Fan frowned. These gunmen were of little concern to him. The fact that they were well-prepared was bothersome, however.

"Though you are unrelated to this matter, your association with Mea seals your fate. Poor Butei, meet your end!" The loli, Katz, commanded her men to fire. Before they could react, Zhang Fan threw a stun grenade, swiftly pulling out his 4A1. He shot at their hands, incapacitating them without taking their lives. It was a mercy not to kill them, considering they were mere pawns.

"You're skilled indeed," Katz remarked, surprised by Zhang Fan's prowess. His ability to handle the situation was beyond her expectation. "But now, let's see how you handle this."

Zhang Fan, now aiming his gun at Katz, knew not to underestimate her despite her youthful appearance. As for Mea, her transformation from a gentle nun to a fierce warrior was startling, yet she was still overpowered by Katz.

Katz then drew a jewel-encrusted, short sword with a laurel leaf pattern, successfully blocking Mea's powerful strike. The force of Mea's sword left a deep impression on the floor, revealing her immense strength.

Seizing the opportunity, Katz swiftly created distance between them, drawing a golden Luger P08 pistol - a favored weapon of Nazi officers during World War II, now a rare antique. The unfolding scene suggested a fierce battle ahead.
