Kamiya Shin, a recently returned Japanese correspondent for an international magazine, is known for his libertine ways and fondness for women. Often entangled in multiple romantic relationships, he seems undeterred by the frequent slaps he receives when discovered, continuing his pursuits with unabated enthusiasm.
As a friend of Junfu, Kamiya quickly makes himself at home in the Cat Eye Coffee Shop. In response to Junfu's criticism of the Black Mouse, Kamiya offers a different perspective.
"The name 'Black Mouse' doesn't sound very flattering. Personally, I think 'Gentleman Thief' suits him better."
"Why would you want to romanticize a thief?" Junfu is baffled by this notion.
Junfu may be clueless, but Zhang Fan knows the truth all too well – Kamiya Shin is the Black Mouse himself. Despite his claims of being a 'Gentleman Thief,' his shifty demeanor hardly aligns with such a title.
As Zhang Fan smirks at this revelation, Kamiya and Ai, who just returned, begin arguing over who's stronger – Cat's Eye or the Black Mouse. The argument escalates almost to the point of physical altercation when Kamiya, with a sly look, whispers a wager to Ai.
"What? No way! That's not acceptable!" Ai vehemently refuses upon hearing Kamiya's proposition.
"If you're afraid to bet, it means you think Cat's Eye will lose," Kamiya slyly retorts.
"Damn it," Ai mutters, feeling cornered. Kamiya smugly exits the coffee shop as the others watch, bewildered.
"Lei, what exactly did you bet with him?" Perceptive as always, Lei senses something amiss with Kamiya and wishes she could avoid such sleazy characters altogether.
"Well…" Ai hesitates, uncertain whether to reveal the nature of the wager.
"Make sure it's not about setting him up on a date with your sisters, or else I might have to spank you," Zhang Fan jokes, lightening the mood.
"Ah, Zhang Fan!" Ai exclaims, drawing the attention of Lei and Tong. Could it really be that wager?
"You actually made that bet with him?" Tong grabs Ai's shoulders, exasperated with her sister's impulsiveness.
"But it's about the reputation of Cat's Eye," Ai mumbles in defense.
"It shouldn't be a big deal, right? As long as we win," Rui interjects, unaware of the full context but confident in their ability to outsmart the Black Mouse.
"Rui's right. Our next target is already set – the 'Emerging Lotus' at next week's art exhibition. It's unlikely we'll cross paths with the Black Mouse there," Lei muses, revealing their next objective.
"That's not certain. What if I tell you the Black Mouse's target is also the 'Emerging Lotus'?" Zhang Fan grins, enjoying the advantage of knowing the plot ahead.
"Do you know something, Zhang Fan?" Everyone's attention turns to him, accustomed to his surprises.
"Ai, do you know why Kamiya was so confident in his bet?" Zhang Fan playfully questions her, instead of revealing the answer directly.
"Well…" Ai struggles to respond, wondering about Kamiya's assured demeanor.
"Come on, big brother, stop teasing and get to the point," Rui playfully tugs at Zhang Fan, eager for the truth.
"Hehe, don't be too shocked, but Kamiya Shin is actually the Black Mouse. So Ai, you silly girl, be more astute in the future and don't fall for such tricks," Zhang Fan reveals, stunning everyone with the truth about Kamiya.
"So that's it, it makes sense now," Lei quickly regains her composure, understanding why Kamiya exuded such a sinister aura.
"So, what do we do now? The bet has been made. If the Black Mouse succeeds, he wants me to set him up on a date with Tong," Ai looks around nervously, hoping for guidance.
"You really are asking for a spanking, aren't you?" Although prepared for such an outcome, Zhang Fan is still irked and playfully pinches Ai's cheek, unable to actually spank her despite Tong's encouragement.
"Alright, let's focus on what to do next," Lei intervenes, pondering how to teach the Black Mouse a lesson without much information about him.
"He's a suitable pawn. Let's give him a lesson first. There's much more we can use him for," Zhang Fan muses, his eyes gleaming with determination.
Side Mission 4: Steal the 'Emerging Lotus' before the Black Mouse's move, teaching him a painful lesson. Reward: 500 game points, unlock the Treasure Shop.
Zhang Fan is delighted with the mission – it's almost too easy, and it motivates him to outwit the Black Mouse.
"What do you mean, Zhang Fan?" Lei asks, noticing Zhang Fan engrossed in his mission details.
"It's quite straightforward. On the night of the mission, we can proceed as planned. Once everything is in place, we'll not only let the Black Mouse take the fall, but also stir up a bit of trouble for him," Zhang Fan explains with a hint of cunning in his voice.
