Beric and Yeon Jin froze up. The feeling of being misunderstood as doing something indecent crept into their bones like ice.
"Now, I have every reason to kill you." Beric stated but was caught off guard as Yeon Jin freed himself from his grip and flipped him to the floor.
Yeon Jin quickly ran to the other side of the room, trying to escape him.
"Hey, let's talk this out." He said.
"There's nothing to talk about. You must die for my dignity to be restored." Beric threatened, swiftly going after him.
"Bullshit. That's not gonna restore your dignity." Yeon Jin retorted, also swiftly avoiding him.
"You must die."
Beric couldn't be swayed. He wanted Yeon Jin dead. And only after he was dead would he have peace of mind. And thanks to not being able to use his powers, catching a fly like Yeon Jin proved to be an annoying task.
"Hold still, let me kill you."
"Ha, do you hear yourself?" Yeon Jin mocked till his ankle was finally caught and they found themselves on the bed.
And again, the doors opened, revealing the two who wanted to confirm that their eyes did not deceive them the previous time.
Seeing this scene, they decided to quickly retreat but were unfortunately caught.
"Stop right there." Beric commanded, the doors shutting with the force of a dark red fog.
The guy on the right was Stein. He was a guy with spiky fiery red hair. He was wearing the red uniform which the knights of the first order directly under Beric wore. But his uniform seemed to have more designs and several badges of honor, distinguishing him from the rest of the knights and announcing his position as vice captain.
While on the left was Allen. A guy with slick black hair, brown eyes and slightly tanned skin compared to Beric's. He wore a uniform similar to Stein's but was a level lower than him. The lesser number of badges on his uniform did not downgrade him but rather spoke of his accomplishments thus, announcing his position as an important member of the knights division.
The both of them froze up as the orders from their prince, as well as their captain, rendered them immovable.
"What did you see?" Beric asked them, his voice resounding like thunder.
"Nothing. We saw nothing at all." Stein quickly answered.
"Then why did you turn around?" Beric asked and this rendered them speechless.
How could they admit that they saw their master having sex with a man in broad daylight? Their heads would roll in seconds.
Yeon Jin took advantage of this commotion and kicked Beric in the guts, causing him to groan.
However, these two, who were backing the scene, mistook his groan for that of pleasure. Of course they would never guess their master to be beaten up by anyone in the world.
"Hold still." Beric groaned, trying to keep Yeon Jin from struggling and fleeing.
"Just get off, already. Do you know how heavy you are? If you're going to kill me, at least do it properly." Yeon complained.
Although they were shocked that someone dared to speak to the tyrant that way, their ears couldn't help but stand erect hearing the words he spoke.
"You leave me no choice." Beric activated the collar and once again, Yeon Jin felt that shock waves flowing through his entire body and he screamed till he lost consciousness.
To the two who were standing at the door, their ears completely filtered the pain that was evident in Yeon Jin's scream and replaced it with the scream of pleasure. They were more than convinced that their master was having a wild time with the spy.
(Their brains must be made of dough.)
"You two." Beric called and they turned to see him adjusting his clothes with one hand while brushing back his hair with his other hand. "I need you to run a thorough background check on that one."
Their gaze shifted to an unconscious Yeon Jin on the bed and they thought, 'Our master isn't just a monster on the battlefield, he's also a monster in bed.'
Their eyes spoke of these words clearly as they stared at Yeon Jin and Beric glared at them.
"Do you want to lose your sight?" He asked and they immediately lowered their heads.
"Please, forgive us. We were being extremely rude."
"Ugh. I'm in a bad mood." Beric stated, unsheathing Stein's sword and walking out the door.
"More heads will roll today too." Stein casually said and Allen nodded.
Their gaze, once again, went to the unconscious Yeon Jin.
"Do you think he's dead?" Allen asked and Stein took it upon himself to check.
He approached the bed and finally got to see Yeon Jin up close. No doubt, he was a very pretty guy. But there was a cut on his cheek.
The room was messy and there were blood stains here and there. It almost looked like a place where a fierce battle took place.
"You shouldn't have resisted." Stein remarked, thinking all this was as a result of him resisting Beric's advance. "But you're lucky you survived."
"We should probably get someone to clean this place up." Allen said. "It reeks of blood."
Stein nodded and they both made their way out of the room. But at the door, Stein paused and glanced back at Yeon Jin.
'Hm, I feel like I've seen that guy somewhere before.' He thought but couldn't quite put his finger into it.
A man that was as pretty and delicate as a lady, with pale skin and long white hair that dazzled like the moon. He fit the description very well but the thing is, he couldn't remember from where he got that appearance description.
'I'll look into it later.' he thought and finally left.
Just as Stein and Allen expected, heads did roll. A total of six servants died in Beric's hands simply because he wasn't in a good mood and they made eye contact with him.
He swung his sword at will and didn't care who got hit by his demonic aura.
"Do you think he's pissed because we interrupted him or that the spy fell unconscious and ruined his fun?" Stein asked Allen as they watched Beric swing his sword at the trees.
"Whichever the case is, I think it's best we lay low. The king will soon send for him."
