As Tristan, Kimberly, and Melvin all walked out of the restaurant after lunch, Tristan turned to Kimberly, a stern expression on his face.
"I may not know exactly what is going on between you two, but I hope you won't hurt, Kim. She means a lot to me, and I won't hesitate to steal her from you if I see that you're not worthy of her," Tristan warned, and Kimberly resisted the urge to grin while Melvin scowled.
"You shouldn't talk to my fiancé that way," Melvin said before Kimberly could respond and she glared at him.
"You are too good for him, Kim," Tristan said with a shake of his head.
"I know, right?" Kimberly said and with one last look at Melvin, Tristan headed for his car, leaving Melvin and Kimberly alone.
Once Tristan had driven off and Kimberly was now comfortably seated with Melvin in the car, she turned to Melvin.
