Back in the Lord Shiva's temple, Gurudev came out and spotted all of the bells on the ceiling were swinging violently, as it was a sign of a danger ahead.
Gurudev: சிவா சிவா, what is this sign? What is happening? What are You trying to say?
( Shiva Shiva )
Gurudev looked back at the Lord Shiva's statue and walked towards him.
Gurudev: No, the evils have started their move, they're attacking your child, they're winning over divine powers. How can You let that happen in front of your eyes when You should protect them from dangers?!!!
Thunders and strong cold winds were kept blowing against the temple and everything began to shake out of control on its own.
Gurudev: You cannot break his trust on You, he loves and believes You a lot. Don't let the evils win against You, You are the destroyer and the supreme god. Proof to your child that he has You by his side. Proof to the evils that they can't stand against You for a second. Proof to the world that you are the Mahakal!!! Mituneswaran!!! Yogi!! Har Har Mahadev!!!
Gurudev folded his hands and called out Lord Shiva to help Mithran who's in danger of the evils's attack. Meanwhile, Mithran kept trying his hard to release himself from the strong root but he couldn't, the root then suddenly buried a huge hole just to let him to get inside there.
Mithran: Prabhu!!! Shiva!!! Don't leave my hand, deliver me safely from these evils!!!
Mithran was getting closer to get himself on the hole. At the same time, the lamps were starting to flicker it was about to shut itself. Lan Wei kept laughing madly and he raised his both hands to raise his evil power.
Lan Wei: You are going to die by my hands, see you really soon in the hell, my dear child...
Hui Yi: Mithran!!! Can you hear me?!!!
Kai Wen: Mithran!!! Mithran!!!
As Mithran was losing his hope to save his own life, light orbs suddenly appeared in the dark sky and resembled an image of Lord Shiva. His third eye opened and the light inside shone out, it attacked the strong root and it immediately got destroyed within a second.
Mithran spotted his foot had released and he quickly ran back to his lamp, another root was about to grab him but he managed to get back to his lamp. The divine orb of the lamp had prevented the root from getting him and forcefully pushed away the root from him.
Meanwhile, Lan Wei started to feel burning sensation throughout his whole body, fire appeared on his both palms. The dark vibe in him was trembling violently as pain welcomed through out his whole body, he immediately understood that something more powerful attacked him back forcefully.
Lan Wei: What is going on?!!!! Why am I burning?!!! Aaaaarrrrrggghhhhh!!!!!!!
Lan Wei stood up from his place and he desperately tried to get away from the fire but it just got worse. He screamed in pain as his whole body began to burn out of control. As he kept screaming louder, Alvin managed to hear it loud and clear from outside.
Alvin: It's the boss's voice! Why is he screaming?!! He must be in danger!!!
Alvin quickly made his way to see what was going on with Lan Wei, he opened the door to find him burning in fire while trying to get away from it. He fell on the ground and he started to lose his consciousness.
Alvin: Sir!! What happened to you?!!
Lan Wei couldn't speak anything as the fire made its way to his throat, Alvin called out the demons to help him from destroying him into ashes.
Back to the house, Mithran breathed heavily after he got escaped from the danger earlier. He wiped his sweats and looked around the garden area, he couldn't find anything that explained how he got pulled away from the lamp, as he didn't see the roots that grew rapidly from the darkness.
Mithran!!!! Mithran!!!!
Mithran looked at his phone and he totally forgot that his friends's call was still going on. He slowly picked it up and placed it on his left ear.
Mithran: He...hello?...
Hui Yi: MITHRAN!! What happened to you?! Why were you screaming?!
Mithran: I....I.... I'm fine....for now.....
Kai Wen: What happened?! Did someone attack you?!
Mithran: I'll tell you after this inauspicious night ended. Ok?
Mithran put his cellphone back on the ground to see his injured leg, he felt a sharp pain throbbing on his leg as the root grabbed him and dragged him harshly on the ground. It was deeply injured with huge red spots on the injured area, almost as if it was just an inch away of the skin to bleed heavily. He grabbed his leg tightly to ensure that no infection or bleeding happening around his injured leg.
4.10 am
Everyone gathered back in the living hall after the inauspicious night ended, Hui Yi kept treating the wound on Mithran's right leg, in which the roots earlier grabbed his leg tightly and hurt violently. Kai Wen sat next to him while Loshini and Xin Li sat at the opposite.
Everyone was equally shocked after Mithran told the whole story about the attack on him, they could had lost him in a split of second if Lord Shiva hadn't arrived to save him from the evils. Now, they felt even scared to look after themselves after witnessing what happened to Mithran.
Hui Yi: Are you ok now, Mithran? Is it still stings?
Mithran: I think I'm fine, but the wound is hurting so much.
Loshini: Who could have thought that the roots would pull and drag Mithran on the ground?! Those evil presence are over their limit!!!
Kai Wen: I should have stayed next to you, Mithran, and look what happened to your leg, you're badly injured. I can't see you being hurt to save us from the danger.
Mithran: Hey, I'm totally fine now, I just didn't expect the sudden attack on me all of a sudden. Don't worry about me.
Xin Li: I don't understand, why would they want to kill us so badly? I mean, we had done a lot of mistakes in the past whether it's individually or with a group, but until wanting us to get killed.....what am I missing here?
Hui Yi: I have that same doubt as well, Xin Li. As far as I can tell, we didn't ruin anyone's life from our action alone.
Mithran: But we can't just leave it like that, we might be fine by now, however they won't just sit down and wait for the attack on us, they will do something to get back on us.
Kai Wen: But the actual problem is, who are they and why are they doing these and when are they going to attack us? These unsolved questions are still making me confused till now.
Loshini: Whatever it is, now we have to be aware of our surroundings, anything might be waiting to get us anytime and anywhere.
Hui Yi looked at Mithran's injured leg, she felt a bit relieved that the wound was healing from her treatment. However, she felt scared to lose her only blood related family to the evils. She couldn't help but to keep worrying about him.
Hui Yi: Mithran, are you sure you're gonna be fine? Your leg is badly injured....
Mithran: Hui Yi, I'm perfectly fine. Trust me, I'm surprised that it wasn't the worst when I was attacked, I thought it would be more painful.
Kai Wen: Yeah, you were attacked by roots, so it must have been a bit harder to hurt you with it as it almost do nothing to your body, unless if they attacked you with their whole body strength.
Xin Li: But wait, I thought nothing could come next to you when the lamp was nearby, how did the root can even get you?
Mithran chuckled and shook his head in disbelief.
Mithran: If it was someone else, I would have been ignored it. But this evil presence, is someone different than others.
Loshini: What do you mean?
Mithran: That evil presence was smart, he knew he can't stand against the divine lamp which was next to me, that's why he used a strong root from one of the plants to attack me.
Hui Yi: I don't understand, why did he have to use a root to attack you?
Mithran: ( smiles ) No matter how powerful the divine powers are, it still has a soft heart. They won't harm any animals or plants for no reason as they were the protector of every life in the Earth. In addition, they were also the protector of mother nature, so the divine powers will never do something to stand against the mother nature.
Loshini: Then how did you get rescued by Lord Shiva?
Mithran: He didn't destroy the root, he just pushed the evils away from me and rescued me from the danger, so He basically saved both me and the root. They're not easy to be fooled, they were planning everything perfectly.
Xin Li: I can't believe it, the evils attacked Mithran and caused him to get hurt deeply.
Hui Yi: The injury is kinda deep though, but fortunately it's not that of a serious injury. No infection or bleeding on Mithran's leg, he will be fine after some time, just don't put any pressure on your injured site, Mithran.
Mithran: You don't have to tell me about it. I can feel the throbbing pain on my leg.
Kai Wen: Throbbing? Hui Yi, are you sure he's alright? Even after you treated his injured leg, he's still claiming that it hurts.
Hui Yi: Of course it hurts, Kai Wen. That means the medicine I applied on the injured site is working, the pain will be temporary so everything will be fine if you don't stress yourself, Mithran.
Mithran: Thanks for the treatment, Hui Yi. I really appreciate it.
Hui Yi: Don't mention it, but I got to say, I feared that we could have lost you tonight if Lord Shiva didn't come to save you. You are not someone who should go away that easily.
Loshini: Guys, we might be good by now, but this is just the beginning. Now we only witnessed a small part of the evils's attack, but I have a bad feeling that this will get worse than before.
Xin Li: Exactly, and thank god the bloody knife was with me when I was looking after the lamp.
Xin Li took out the bloody knife which had been found in the bathroom, Loshini was shocked to the core as she didn't know the knife was with her, when she was panicking that she lost it somewhere else.
Loshini: Wait, so you're the one who was holding the knife?! Why didn't you tell me earlier?!!
Xin Li: You didn't ask, and you didn't even come to take it back from me when you were rushing here and there to lit up the lamp, so I just kept it to myself.
Loshini: I thought I lost it when Hui Yi reminded me about the knife, I was terrified for a moment.
Hui Yi: But still, thank god the knife didn't go to the wrong hand, it's still in our eyes.
Kai Wen: However, we can't keep an eye on that knife for the whole time, we need to keep it somewhere else, somewhere the evils can't even get into.
Mithran: I think I know just what to do.
Mithran suddenly stood up and took the knife from Xin Li.
Hui Yi: Hey hey hey, Mithran, what are you doing?! You might hurt your leg again!
Mithran: I said I'm fine, I can still walk with this injury.
Loshini: Mithran, ஆனா உன் கால்லு...
( But your leg..... )
Mithran: எனக்கு தெரியும்...
( I know... )
Mithran was walking normally like before, everyone was stunned that he was strong to even bear the deep injury on his leg. He went inside the prayer's room and put it in front of the god's statues and photos.
The others followed him behind and stood at the door to see what was he up to.
Kai Wen: What are you doing, Mithran?
Mithran: No evil can get into a place where divine powers live, as long as the knife is in their eyes, we are fine. From now on, don't take away the knife from the prayer's room or tried to touch it. Until this whole issue is solved, don't do something to it. Understand?
The others just nodded their head without any options, it's clearly the best for everyone since the knife could lead to another life-threatening situation for all of them. For now, the knife had to be protected from the evils so it wouldn't get away to them.
4.30 am
Back in the dark place, a demon was treating Lan Wei's body when he was sitting down with no facial expressions, the other demons gathered and stood in front of their leader. Alvin was quietly watching Lan Wei getting treated and he was feeling guilty that he couldn't save his boss before the danger came ahead to him.
Lan Wei: They're escaped.....again.....
Alvin looked at Lan Wei's face when he was looking directly at the ground.
Lan Wei: I can't believe it....after everything I can do to kill them, I still failed to do so....I...I lost to them....again!!!! ( Stomps on the ground )
Alvin: Sir, please... you're injured right now, calm down.
Lan Wei: How can I calm down, Alvin?!! I was waiting for the moment to take everyone's life by attacking Mithran, but he was saved by the divine powers again, again and again!!!
Alvin: Sir...demon, why are you taking so long to treat his wounds?
Demon: My apologies, sir. If it was a normal injury, I could have treat him in a short time, but since the attack was from a divine power, the wounds won't heal that quickly. Boss was badly injured after the counter attack from the divine power.
Alvin: What?! Then how are we going to treat his wounds if it won't heal right away?
Lan Wei: Stop, you can stop treating me now, go back to your place.
Alvin: But sir, you're still injured and you seriously need a medical attention.
Lan Wei: I don't care about my injuries, Alvin. Pain is just a part of my journey, I have seen it many times in my life. Right now, I only need to focus on my revenge, which I was waiting for several years, with anger, hatred and everything that made me hate them.
Alvin: So, what are you going to do next, sir?
Lan Wei stood up from his place and stretched his whole body, despite the pressure on the wounds causes him to feel pain again. He smirked devilishly with a slight grin, along with his red glowing eyes.
Lan Wei: 等着瞧, I know what I should do in the right time.
