Mithran and Hui Yi were hanging out in the balcony while the others were in downstairs, minding their own business. They were thinking deeply about the things they have done in the past that caused today's consequences.
Mithran: Hui Yi, we have done a lot of mistakes in the past, but which one of these would be the cause of these horrible incidents happened?
Hui Yi: I'm still trying to figure it out, Mithran. It can be anything, something we have done, say or anything in the past. I just don't know what that is.
Mithran: ( sighs ) I can't even think of where to start our first move, there isn't even a single clue we found that can help us.
Hui Yi nodded her head in agreement, when her mind suddenly striked something when Mithran was talking about the clue.
Hui Yi: The knife...
Mithran: The what?
Hui Yi: The knife.....Mithran, what if we go and investigate my room where Loshini found the knife? There must be something we didn't even look properly in that room.
Mithran: Then what are we waiting for? Let's go and search for a clue in your room.
As Mithran was about to go, Hui Yi stopped him from doing so.
Mithran: What's the matter?
Hui Yi: Should we alert the others as well?
Mithran: ( thinks for a while ) We'll deal with this on our own for now, don't tell anyone about this.
Mithran and Hui Yi immediately went down to her room without grabbing the other's attention.
Hui Yi: Did anyone hear us?
Mithran: I don't think so.
Hui Yi: Great, let's look for clues, but quietly.
Mithran: Copy that.
Hui Yi and Mithran slowly opened the door and found no one in the room. They both sighed in relief and closed the door without making any sound.
Mithran: Right, let's find any clues here.
Mithran started to search at the cupboard while Hui Yi started to search at the bed.
Hui Yi: See anything out of the ordinary?
Mithran: Apart from your make up stuffs and all, there's nothing I can tell.
Hui Yi: Hey, are you saying those are weird? Those are my precious make up products, those are not something you can get in the local market.
Mithran: Uhmm..weird enough to let me wonder how much you spent on all of these. These look so expensive, that you need to sell your kidneys for sure.
Hui Yi: Excuse me, there's another girl who goes to spa everyday assuming that it's her own money, why don't you ask her then?
Mithran: No need to bring her now, let's keep looking.
Mithran and Hui Yi almost finished searching the whole room, but still they couldn't find any clue that linked to the mysterious knife.
Hui Yi: Oh no, we are in dead end again, what should we do?
Mithran: Ok, I think the washroom is left to check, where Loshini claimed she found the knife there.
Loshini: I found what?
Mithran and Hui Yi jerked out when they heard Loshini's voice behind them out of nowhere, they saw her standing at the doorway, holding the door handle with a confusion look.
Hui Yi: Hehehe, well hello there Loshini. I was not expecting to see you here.
Loshini: What do you mean you weren't expecting? What are you two doing here?
Mithran: Umm.... we're.....here for ..ummm...
Loshini: For what?
Mithran: ( murmures ) Say something, she might find out soon.
Hui Yi: Say what?
Mithran: Anything, except out purpose.
Hui Yi: Ok, I got this. ( chuckles ) Actually, I lost one of my eyeliners here, so I came here to search for it.
Loshini: Ohh...uh...do you need my help?
Hui Yi: No, thanks. I called Mithran to help me, we will find soon.
Mithran: By the way, why are you here, Loshini?
Loshini: Well, Xin Li wants to borrow my skincare product to try out, so I came here to take it.
Hui Yi: Sure, go ahead.
Loshini sighed and took her things from the dressing table, she was about to leave before she looked back at Hui Yi and Mithran.
Loshini: Are you guys sure you don't need my help? It's too hard to find an eyeliner in this huge room.
Hui Yi: Don't worry, we got this.
Mithran: She's right, we will find it in no time.
Loshini: All right, if you say so.
Loshini left the room before closing the door, Hui Yi and Mithran let out a huge sigh of relief and looked away.
Hui Yi: That was close.
Mithran: Yeah, we have to find real quick before her or the others got in here.
Hui Yi: Right..... wait, where were we?
Mithran: We're looking for a clue?
Hui Yi: Oh yes, the clue. Let's go and search for it in the washroom.
Hui Yi went towards the washroom, she turned the door handle, but it didn't open. She tried a few times but it won't open.
Mithran: What's wrong, Hui Yi?
Hui Yi: Mithran, I can't open the door.
Mithran: What do you mean you can't open the door?
Mithran also tried to open the door by turning the door handle, but it still couldn't open.
Mithran: Is it stuck?
Hui Yi: That's impossible, the door was working perfectly before, there's no issues for it.
Mithran: Then what's the matter?
Mithran and Hui Yi tried to push the door but it wasn't working at all. He checked the keyhole on the door handle to see what's stopping the door from opening it. But instead, he found something else that made his blood run cold.
Mithran: Umm...Hui Yi, was anyone here in this room before we arrived?
Hui Yi: No, the room was empty as it is now, apart from Loshini who came here unexpectedly.
Mithran: But not the washroom, there's someone standing inside there.
Hui Yi: What?!!! What do you mean?!!
Hui Yi also took a look through the keyhole, she was shocked to see a figure standing motionless inside the washroom.
Hui Yi: Who is it?!
Mithran: How do I know? I can't see its face.
Hui Yi: It couldn't be one of our friends, could it?
Mithran: Impossible, the others are at the downstairs, I triple checked.
Hui Yi: Oh no, could it be an intruder?!Someone tried to break into our house?! What do we do?!
Mithran: Don't panic, we'll think of something.
Mithran took another look, but this time the figure was gone inside the washroom.
Mithran: Wait, it's gone now.
Hui Yi: What? Really?
Mithran: There's no one there.
Hui Yi slowly took a look for herself. To her horror, a creepy pair of red eyes can be seen through the hole, she screamed in shock and fell backwards to the floor, she started to breath heavily from the horrible encounter.
Mithran: Hui Yi!!! What happened?!!
Mithran helped Hui Yi to get her up from the floor.
Hui Yi: You said there's no one inside the washroom, but I saw red eyes on the hole!!!
Mithran: Red eyes?!
Hui Yi: Yeah, it was looking directly into my eyes!!
Mithran once again went back to the door, he tried to push hard to open the door.
Mithran: Who's there?! Show yourself or we will come in!!
Mithran pushed harder on the door with all of his force, Hui Yi let out a huge breathe before she too started to push the door.
Hui Yi: I don't care who you are, intruder!! Just open the door, or else I will call the police.
Mithran: Hui Yi. This won't work, on the count of three, let's push the door together with our whole strength.
Hui Yi: All right, let's do this.
Mithran and Hui Yi were getting ready to get their whole strength into action.
Mithran: Ready? 1.....
Mithran and Hui Yi stepped back a bit from the washroom door.
Mithran: 2.....
Both of them were breathing heavily and nervous as they were about to break the door open and see who was inside the washroom.
Mithran: 3!!!!
With that said, they both ran towards the washroom door in a fast speed and used their shoulders to hit it. Finally, the door was open and they looked inside the washroom, what they found there was.....
