"How was i so dumb not to take this thing before, holy cow man," Alex said looking down.
"Let's see now, looks like the Parachute was made out of the little strings i thought it was." Alex smiled as he pulled out tiny little strings that could bearly be seen by the eye from the parashute that was lying on the ground, it was all cut up into different pieces.
Alex didn't want to waste it on a trap, it was a great cover for the little shack was about to make and would be able to protect him in the different weather situations, he was also making clothes from the parachute as his clothes were getting extremely smelly.
Alex nodded at himself and pulled out about 13 strings. they were 3 meters both, quite big and not too small, but enough to make what he was planning.
"Clock Primitive System relies on a light itself, if the light is not too bright people will be unlucky to fall into this trap, if the light is extremely bright they will most likely fall into it, i need to eliminate that weakness of this primitive trap." Alex thought about this after looking up.
He held the string in the air to see completely disappear as the sun's light hit it.
"I know!!!" A lightbulb went into his mind and he stood up, he took all the strings in his hand.
Alex went towards the Trees that were behind his camp, his camp was quite small, only enough for him to make fire, so he needed to create something a little bit different.
Alex arranged the camp and made it a little bigger, it was 3 meters in diameter, and now it was 3 meters horizontally, not much difference but still it had quite a big ceiling.
"Let's see if i just put this here, the starlight will be the one that is hiding these strings," Alex said this and pulled the string on the tree, then he swirled the end of it on the tree branch he had for making the fire. he first put the strings on the ground and surrounded his camp with it.
He made a rectangle shape around his camp. he pulled all the 13 strings on the rectangle-shaped branches and made somehow a string wall.
"Good..." Alex pulled out the branches one by one, put them behind the tree that was behind his camp, and smiled.
"With 3 Branches that have strings on them in front of the camp, and about few of them behind the camp, if the Animal comes from behind they will trip on the strings which will make the branches fall as well, if they come from in front of the camp they will make the branches behind fall, if they walk around they will fall into the invisible strings on the ground.
Alex was happy on the trap and wiped his hands off the sand he attracted.
"Man, no sign of searching crew again." Alex mildly smiled and sighed...
"This will give me time to either escape or get armed," Alex said and looked at the sword he made out of stone.
Of course, he could not make stone swords yet but the handle was attached to a wooden sword that had somehow sharp edges made out of stone and a stone tip, it was wrapped around by a string, this time hundreds of them, this was not a normal design for a sword but Alex knew something.
"If i made this out of metal it would be much worse than this, it would break the wood instantly, stone is heavier but it distributes the heaviness very differently around the entire sword," Alex said, he made something like this in the past by mistake when he was on the mission.
He was sent to a mine but his team got lost from each other, the mine was filled with many spiders that Alex had to fear so he took a pickaxe, pulled the handle off it, pulled out an obsidian, and made a spear out of it.
Then he made a stone handle he could hold the thing and he got some kind of weird mix of a short spear and a sword.
He then wrapped obsidian shards around the handle and he got an obsidian-looking weird sword.
He then made a strong string for it and wrapped it all around it.
He called it.
"Spearingsword. Man that was such a long shot." Alex went and pulled the sword up.
It was about 130 Kilograms (286.601 pounds), quite heavy, but Alex was able to wield it easily, he was quite buff considering he was a scientist, but still, he was surprised at his strength, he was a soldier in the past, good one at that, but wielding something like this so easily was not something he could do in the past, he was surprised how good the surrounding place was for his body, he felt like he trained for 35 years straight since he came to this place.
"I knew bad chemicals in the Air made you weaker." Alex snorted and went towards the bow he made.
He was going back to the forest, and Alex decided to do this every day and get some resources.
"Looks like i have still not gone too deep inside of the forest, i could only find very few resources in the territory i was... i need to go much deeper if i want to find more minerals." Alex said this and pulled out a logbook, he didn't have a pen so he used some charcoal to write.
Surprisingly making charcoal ink was a pain in the hand, he spent almost all afternoon making it.
He made charcoal into a powder mixed some water in it then stirred it with his finger, he took the leaves around the trees and made the brush he needed and he had a primitive ink he needed to write something.
"i also need to make a map... man there are many things i need to do." Alex sighed, he was used to the leisurely lifestyle he had in the past, and now he was going to hunt his resources, ridiculous development was this.
"Let's go," Alex said this and went inside of the forest.
