Synopsis

The Start Of The Journey

The boy was the only child of the chief researcher of the Ancient Empire of Guiselioppe

Being sick from a young age of 8 because of an unknown illness the chief researcher had to make sacrifices and experimented on his own son for 5 years in hopes of curing him. The chief researcher succeeded in his endeavor by mixing the genetics of the different creatures in order to strengthen his son's constitution but it soon caught the eyes of the tyrant of the empire.

The boy was then genetically modified as it peaked the interest of a certain emperor forcing the chief researcher to continue in this research using threats. Believing only that of noble blood shall have the honour partaking in this research the tyrant sacrificed his own kin for the experiment, the young and bright prince's of the old empire.

Starting with the 3rd prince and ending with the 1st prince. The experiments failed as the 3 princes suffered a cruel and sad death. The emperor wanted to use the 4th prince his last kin a newborn not even a year old, afraid of the tyrant using her newborn on another experiment the queen entrusted her son to the chief researcher. You may ask why the queen entrusted her son to the very same person who killed her sons. It was because the chief researcher was against using the prince's in the experiment and didn't partake on it as it was done by his assistant. The chief researcher fought for the lives of the young Prince's but failed so in order to help save the lives of the young prince's he tried to increase the chances of the experiment succeeding dedicating all his time on research trying to make the king realize that such experiment has a high chance of failure but it was all in vain, the emperor didn't heed his pleas as he ordered to continue the experiments on his own kin.

Knowing the chief researcher's efforts to prevent the prince's being involved in such a cruel experiment, although holding a grudge against him because his own research led to the deaths of her own precious children she entrusted her newborn to him knowing that he will try his best to protect the child.

After the prince's death and the 4th prince's disappearance the tyrant soon set his eyes on the child of the chief researcher. Scared that the tyrant might take away his son the chief researcher sealed his son in a small stone wishing the best for his kin as he hid the stone that containing his child. Some may call it idiotic and some may call it mad but for the Chief researcher at the time it was the right decision as his son was still in a coma and needed medical attention and sealing his son in a stone can resemble a hibernation like state and give his son's body enough time to change and adapt according to the modification of his genes without him aging.

Angry at the researcher for hiding his son the tyrant ordered for the researcher to be hunted down in the account of treason against a royalty. The researcher fled the empire and went into hiding for many years while caring for the 4th prince as he continued his research experimenting on animals instead of humans.

Taking his research the emperor assigned new researchers to continue his work as the experiment took countless lives of both children and adults throughout the years as the emperor disregarded the use of noble blood as it was not efficient enough and by the time the research bore fruits 18 years had already passed and the emperor was at his last leg dying of old age. Ordering the new chief researcher to use the research and modify his own withering body in an attempt to fight against his old age to stay alive.

With the experiment on the tyrant's body becoming successful he soon ruled the empire with iron fist as he was named by his own empire's citizens as The "Demon King". The empire soon fell as the experiment's side effects caused the emperor to have an urge for destruction, blood, and an urge to kill all living beings. As the Demon King destroyed his empire with his own 2 hands.

Seeing the destruction caused by the Emperor of the now fallen Empire the 4th prince begged his adopted father the former Chief researcher to modify his own body so that he would be strong enough to be able to put an end the the Demon King's destruction. Burdened by his conscience that the cause of all this destruction was his own research he agreed to the 4th prince's pleas as he began modifying the prince's body, with his insights on his research over the years he successfully modified the 4th prince's body giving him enough strength to oppose the demon king.

The 4th prince turned into the "Hero" as he made his way to the Demon King's fallen castle where they fought to death. The 4th prince faced his father in a battle to the death in which he emerged victorious putting an end to the Demon King's life.

This story would soon be passed down generations upon generations as the story of a brave hero defeating the evil demon king.

After the defeat of the demon king the empire was rebuilt anew and in order to prevent a coming of a second demon king just before the 4th prince died he made a vow to the world in which his strength shall be passed down to his descendants and one of them shall awaken as the hero when the world is at risk.

During this time the chief researcher took out the stone in which his son was sealed in and hid it away from the world making an vow to the world in which his child shall awaken together with the hero before ultimately dying a lonely death.

The stone was unbreakable and was passed on to countless people throughout a thousand years before ultimately ending up in the hands of a unfortunate adventurer where he wore it as a necklace as he travelled alone in the city of the dead. Soon after entering he recieved a mortal wound which took his life but not wanting to die a dog's death he went inside an old building where he put his cherished necklace on a white bed in order to serve as a reminder that he was once in here before leaving the old building and staggered as he walked through the empty roads as he collapsed died before being devoured by the wandering ghouls in the city.

3 years had passed since the adventurer had died and the stone on the bed grew brightly as it soon turned into a child wearing an oversized white cloth lying down on the bed peacefully marking the start of our journey.

...

Inside an old building lies a sleeping child with a pale white skin and ashen black hair that reached it's shoulders in lenght wearing only but an oversized white t-shirt that reached to it's knees and a dark underwear, despite looking like a little girl because of it's pale complexion and small body it was infact a little boy with it's eyes closed sleeping peacefully on a bed inside an old and dilapidated house. As the night fell and the sky began to brighten up, the child's eyes began to flicker as he slowly began showing signs of waking up.

(Perspective switch)...

Waking up I rubbed my eyes as I slowly got out from bed. It has already been three days since I first woke up in this run down building, at first I was disturbed and confused as to why I woke up inside an old building but throughout the three nights I spent inside this building I slowly grew to accept it. If in had to point out another strange occurrence other than waking up inside this building it is that I have no memories or recollection of what I did before I woke up but strangely enough I do have memories of learning things before except that they are muddy and takes a few minutes of mental exercise to remember and everytime I tried to remember a splitting headache would assault my head causing me immense pain but because of that I did remember a couple of things first of is that I was running away from something and took shelter here and that I am somewhere at the eastern side of the continent.

During my stay here I found out a couple of things, like there are ghouls constantly roaming around the streets so I figured out that must've been what I was running away from and that I can read books! Because of that discovery I had no problem idling around here for 3 days. But I didn't just stay idle during those three days I walked around inside the house t look for stuff, in one of the rooms I found a library where I found out that I could read the text written on the paper... Well you might say that's something noone should be surprised about but considering that I only have very little memories that I can remember it came as a pleasant surprise, the next room I found was the kitchen I know from my memory that people used to cook foods here to be eaten when they were hungry but strangely enough I didnt feel too much hunger even though I haven't eaten a single thing after I woke up three days ago but that didn't mean I wasn't hungry or anything so I searched around the kitchen for something to eat. And eventually after searching for a few minutes I found food! Though as you'd expect the state of the food wasn't something that could be safely used for human consumption, well it would be a lie if I said that I didn't get my hopes up. Moving on I also found a storage room? Yeah something similar at least since I found a dagger stuck on the wooden wall,a backpack lying on the ground and a notebook placed on top of the table.

The book peeked my curiosity so I opened it and began to read the texts written on the pages, Entry No.1 "Hello I'm Kersett, my friends told me that I should write a diary but I don't know what to write in it..."

"Oh it's a diary not interested hah... I thought it was gonna be something interesting" Expressing my disappointment I continued to flip the pages of the diary.

Entry no.47 "I found a secret room in the library, it was hidden behind a bookshelf. Hehehe I'm gonna use that as my secret base then, oh just thinking about me having my own little secret fills me up with so much excitement."

A secret room? Now that's something interesting, wanting to find out more about the secret I flipped through the next page of the diary.

Entry no.48 "I'm gonna go explore the secret room tonight when my parents are asleep so that they won't scold me hehehehe."

"Wait that's it?" I murmured in confusion.

Flipping through the next page of the diary as I looked forward to reading the next entry I was met with a blank page.Confused thinking that the writer must've skipped pages or something I flipped the remaining pages of the diary only to be disappointed.

The writer stopped writing after visiting that secret room that they found, maybe he didn't come back after entering that secret room? Maybe something held them captive or in the worst case scenario took their life... But there is also the possibility that the writer just stopped writing in the diary or switched to write in a new diary.

"..."

Well this is a bit unnerving but I should go and check the that hidden room, since the writer didn't specify where the secret room is other than them mentioning it was somewhere in the library. Since it's a hidden room or as the writer called it a secret room the entrance to it is probably hidden somewhere behind a trapdoor or behind a wall with some strange mechanisms attached to it, since the writer didn't write anything in the diary after going to explore the secret room I should be careful since there could be potential dangers lurking inside that room that caused the writer to disappear. Not only that but considering that there are ghouls lurking around the streets similar creatures might also be hiding inside the room so I should be wary and stay vigilant, since the writer explored the place at night and potentially didn't come back I should explore it during the day to avoid potential dangers lurking at night.

After some careful deliberation he decided to explore the library early in the morning...

Leaving the storage room he decided to take the bag and the sword that was hanging on the wall and proceeded to head back to the bedroom to take a rest, heading back to the bedroom he saw the bright moon through the holes on the roof and basked in it's light before lying down on the bed and taking a rest.

~Whoosh

As the cold wind flowed through the broken window and inside the room, the boy fell into deep sleep without knowing what the future has in store for him.

...

As the night fell a new day started as the sun rose up proudly in the sky bestowing it's majestic light upon the ground, it was already morning...
