The cloud of darkness and the illusion cloud erupted simultaneously. Instantly, they covered Alden and spread out, covering all the spiders.
Strangely, the darkness and the rainbow colored mist didn't mix but still took the same surface.
Alden benefited from both while avoiding any side effects from the two merging.
The cloud of darkness erased his presence, and the rainbow-colored mist tricked their senses and cast them into an illusion.
'Good. As I expected, my theory is correct.' A smile spread on Alden's face as he weaved a sigh of relief.
What worried him was that in the description for the Illusion Fog the system gave him, it said only he and Little Rainbow wouldn't experience illusions. He worried Ulfr would fall into an illusion.
