A huge forest-green portal opened behind him.

Vines flew out of the portal, traveling at Arach.
Arach just stared at the incoming vines, unalarmed.

He stored the ball with the recording to safety and threw the two chakrams above himself.
Three vines in the front almost reached him. One vine aimed at his head, while the other two at the sides of his waist, the sharp end of the vines threatening to pierce him.
Other vines were not far behind, threatening to puncture holes through his body.

Arach jumped in the air, moving his body gracefully to horizontally align between the vines, with his legs slightly hanging down.
