Beep! Beep!
The alarm of Chloe's wristwatch rang in the room.
Chloe slowly opened her eyes. She felt comfortable in Alden's hands, so she had unintentionally fallen asleep.
Alden slowly opened his eyes.
His eyes met with Chloe's.
Immediately, he was wide awake. His face reddened as his heartbeat increased.
Swoosh!
Chloe turned to the other side and immediately stood up. Her face red.
Alden jumped out of bed as well.
"I-I'll go to the bathroom," Chloe immediately entered the bathroom, leaving Alden alone in the room.
The blush didn't leave Alden's face. 'I can't believe I fell asleep,' He looked back on the bed. 'My breath doesn't stink, does it?' He quickly put his palm before his mouth and breathed, testing his breath. To his relief, he didn't stink.
"C-Chloe, I'll go to my room," Alden didn't wait for her response and left.
As he walked back to his room, he calmed down, and his face returned to normal.
