The south city gate came into Arach's and Alden's view.
The two guards standing by the closed city ate noticed them. The guards got on guard. They raised the long spears and pointed at the incoming Arach and Alden.
"HALT!!" One of the guards roared. The spiritual energy in his body surged.
Arach and Alden stopped dozens of meters from the city gate.
"Slowly approach us!" The city guard commanded. "If you make any sudden moves, we'll attack!"
Arach wasn't bothered and slowly started approaching the city gate. Alden followed.
While this guard observed Alden and Arach, the other guard opened a small door near the city gate and entered the other side, inside the city. He quickly reported the situation outside.
While he was reporting inside, Alden and Arach reached the city gate.
"State your identity!" The guard shouted, even more wary.
