"Asher! Fight me in a game and the winner keeps your fiance!" Ethan shouted.
"What the heck are you talking about? My fiance isn't an object and I'm not her, she decides if she wants to be with me or you!" I shot back.
"Although our parents arranged this marriage since we were still in our mothers I don't care about that since it works out." Cashel chipped in.
Ethan was boiling and in anger he screamed, "Guards, take them all out!"
The guards that had been in the room since the start of the conversation started to move and they suddenly stopped.
Asher's light purple eyes had turned dark again and he gave a glance to the guards. "You dare?"
Those simple words shook the entire existence of the guards.
'I-impos-posible! I'm a red core mage! I c-c-can-t be scared of some u-unawa-wa-wak-kened b-brat-t...' One of the guards thought, even stuttering in his mind and it was the same for the other guards but then that pressure suddenly vanished.
"Let's go, Eva."
"W-w-wait-t, g-go-go t-t-to y-your woo-wood-deen sh-ash– sha-k–" Evan stuttered, not even gathering proper words. The couch was wet beneath him and a foul smell started to spread.
Asher walked out with Eva and Cashel with Emira into another living room totally ignoring the mess they– Asher had made unconsciously.
2 hours later
Asher laid on a couch with a content smile on his face and Eva sat across him with a dejected expression.
"I have 130 gold coins now. Thanks for making it a round number, Eva-chan~. MUHAHA!"
Asher didn't master every job in the world for nothing. He won 28 championships in chess before he moved to poker and he won 30 in poker before he moved to another game and soon he conquered the gambling world!
In another side of the room, Cashel and Emira laid on the floor panting like they'd run around the entire planet without stopping.
The wooden swords beside them were broken– Wrong, they were utterly destroyed.
Cashel and Emira had the same level of physical strength despite one being a true elf and no one could give reasons.
They had just finished another round of fighting and a butler came in with a full row of wooden swords after all, the last one were no where to be seen.
"Let's continue!"
"Yes!"
*Clank!
*Clank!
Suddenly, the door swung open again and a woman in a red gothic dress walked in with anger present on her face. Behind her were two boys with swollen, bruised faces.
"Mom, that's him! He hit me while I was talking with Evan in the next room and he called you a witch!"
Everyone in the room turned their heads to the door with different expressions. Cashel and Emira looked angry, Elara looked at the woman in curiosity and Asher's face was blank. No emotions, although his eyes said otherwise.
It was constantly changing from dark purple to a normal purple and a dark pressure seeped out of him.
"Killing intent... and you're not even five years old or awakened. Beast." The woman spoke, looking at Asher.
"You two have committed grave offences. Coming into my house without permission and beating up my children. You've got some nerve, beasts."
A dark chuckle escaped Asher's lips and his face displayed a slight smile.
"Your house? Last time I checked, My father owns this place and you're just a desperate woman who forced herself on him and is gathering dust in here. Look here, missy–"
*VOOM-!
*BAM!
He wasn't allowed to finish his talk before his body was thrown across the room and hit the wall.
Asher's eyes rolled back into his head and he coughed out several mouthfuls of blood.
"Asher!" Eva screamed. She tried to stand but she couldn't lift a finger and she saw the woman from before in front of her.
*VOOM-!
*THWACK!
*BAM!
Cashel was next but he didn't cough up blood like Asher did. Emira too was rooted on the floor unable to move.
"Olivia!" She screamed. "Release me this instant!"
Olivia who had already reached the door replied, "I already have." and the door closed.
Later That Night
Asher's eyes fluttered open and he shot up like a bullet. He had bandages surrounding him making him look like a mummy.
Cashel's bandages were much better. He hissed, still feeling pain and moving so abruptly didn't help at all.
He looked at the night table beside him and he saw two papers on it.
/Asher Von Wight
•Broken ribs
•Damaged kidney
•Internal bleeding
•Fractured bones/
/Cashel Von Wight
•Broken ribs/
Underneath both papers was a signature; "Dr. Carter." Asher read.
"Well that's something." He said as he laid down on the bed and after a few minutes, he heard some muffled voices from the room beside him.
"I can't take this anymore!" He heard his mother's voice although it sounded angry and quite different from usual.
"No, we can't do this.. She'll tell him..." He heard her voice again in a meeker tone.
"Calm down Elilia, Emilia." His father's voice called out. "I'm going to discipline her–"
"Shut up! That's the thousandth time you've said that– Can I watch you this time?"
Asher raised an eyebrow. This seemed strange as heck. Could this be... split personalities? Or someone else is in the room?
He quietly stood up, ignoring the pain that was attempting to pull him down.
He opened the door and traced the voices to the room right next his.
He opened it and he saw his mother and father looking at him with shocked gazes.
"Asher!" Emilia hugged him immediately. She was still wearing her special white armor which had a very hard exterior.
"Mom, you're hurting me." He managed to call out.
"Oh! I'm sorry. It's just– I'm really–"
*Sniff
Barion was behind her looking at him with sad eyes but then he noticed something.
"Is something wrong?" He asked, looking at Asher's eyes scanning the room.
"I was hearing the voices of three people from my room but I can only see two of you here?"
Barion and Emilia's eyes widened in shock like they'd seen someone slapping the king and getting away with it.
