Alex was not firing in the dark; he could survive a shark's attack, and if the right circumstances were met, killing the boss was not out of his reach.
Of course, it would be difficult, but if everyone worked together, there are 100% chance of success.
Alex's confidence is not shallow; he had a reason to believe in his claim because he had partially learned the technique Dev had displayed.
Hearing Alex's response, Rin nodded, acknowledging his will to face danger. There are not many people who can confront the unknown.
Most of the people in Alex's situation will leave their safety on a stranger's shoulder. They would panic only one thought would resonate in their mind — that is to retreat as quickly as possible, run away, ignore the danger, and use a scapegoat to escape their misery.
But individuals like Alex will try to find a solution. Although they are not much different from the first batch of people, one advantageous thing is their suspicious and paranoid nature. They try to concoct a plan to deal with every possible threat they can think of.
"You have 5 min," Rin said and then proceeded to inform them abouts the further plan that included splitting the group into two parts. One will include injured people, those who can't carry on, while the other group contains healthy individuals.
The first group will retreat to boat while Alex, Steve, and Rin will attempt the assassination of the Boss.
"What! No way..." That was what Alex wanted to say, but he didn't. Instead, he grits his teeth in process Acknowledging the situation and aware that the injured individuals can't survive further raids, not to mention the members suffering from infection, who is more familiar with it than Alex himself.
So Without opposing the decision, he decided to use his Reverse Divination on the disk.
That will give him some information about the place where the artefact is situated.
First, using his seer eyes, Alex ignored the shadow tainted with blood beside him. It was an evil spirit.
Whenever he activated his seer, he could see her, but there wasn't much tension, as he knew this evil spirit couldn't injure him. In fact, from the boat to this place, she had followed him.
There were some instances when Alex considered talking with this spirit, but he denied it, fearing that communication might act as a catalyst for this spirit to corrupt his mind.
Right now, Alex focused on determining if the disk in Steve's hand is cursed or not. After confirming it was not, he asked Steve to hand it over.
"Careful," Steve said.
Alex nodded in response while Rin addressed them further.
"Steve, you don't have to come with us, as you can't survive shark attacks or harm them, so you can retreat with the rest."
"No, I want to carry the mission with you. There is no need to worry about my safety. I will not be a burden. I will take care of threats that I can. I can't abandon my friend."
If Alex could hear him, he would surely ask which friend Steve was talking about. As far as he could remember, there was merely a day time both had spent together, and Steve had announced him as a friend.
But he couldn't, as he was engrossed in using his Reverse Divination on the disk. Multiple flashes were playing in his mind, starting flashes containing the information-related atmosphere around the artifact that transformed to a box some one placed that disk on the box This disk acted like sealing.
Then more and more information tracing back to dozens of years was absorbed in Alex's mind. Not entirely, but some important details, like whenever modifications were made to the disk, it reached back to the moment the disk was first embedded in the box that carried an ancient artefact.
This last flash was situated in a medieval room, giving a feeling of blacksmithy. Multiple weapons were placed here like there—armour, sword, bow, mace, hammer, and ever-surging flame.
Suddenly, Alex sprawled back, struggling to regain his equilibrium.
"We need to hurry up..."
That was the first thing he said when he gained his bearing and Immediately he reloaded his bullet.
There was a horrifying expression on his face like a terrifying secret had been revealed to him that could very well flip the current situation around. Without explaining anything further, he started running in an unknown direction.
Rin too took an instance and got ready to follow him; Steve also joined in.
Some meters away, the retreating figure of Seth and the rest of the party members could be seen.
Seth turned back seeing Rin, Alex, and Steve hurrying over toward the boss.
"Good luck," he whispered, praying for their safety.
And then with the support of Ragna, he disappeared in the mist.

The awakening of artefacts is one of the major reasons any land can become blessed.
Awakening means whenever an artefact births its spirit; this process takes decades and centuries to complete as this time is used to accumulate sufficient spirituality for awakening. When they do, a tremendous amount of spirituality is exhaled, which is stored in it with time.
Someone had put an artefact like this in Allwater Blessed Land, that too a high-grade one.
"But that is not to worry about, it is still in the process of awakening, right?" Steve asked.
Rin, who fired at a distant shark after taking it down, answered, "Indeed, But we have to hurry; better safe than sorry. What if the boss consumes it.he can recovers healing his injuries."
"That artifact is related to God," out of nowhere Alex dropped a bomb, causing Rin to suddenly speed up and quickly reload her assault rifles.
"Which turns Alex."
"Left," he quickly answered this time as Rin took the front. While Alex guided her from the back, he knew about the structure of this entire place; after all, it was one part of the information he had gained after using his Reverse Divination on the disk.
That disk had given him information related to a lot of things, basically, the entire lifespan of the disk whenever someone modified it.
Most importantly, such as it originated centuries before in a blacksmith shop. The blacksmith was working on important weapons, but then one day, a king came to him asking to make a sealing through a disk he had in hand.
First, the king asked what the blacksmith was making by putting the disk aside, and then the blacksmith explained about the artefact he was preparing.
"This will be a history-changing Weapon." the blacksmith said.
After a moment of praise, the king again retrieved a sphere from his pocket and said, "This is related to a Cursed God. I don't have any use for it, at least for now, so I wanted to seal it. I am afraid the god will be the one awakened within it."

And now, in modern times, someone has used those artefacts to transform this land into a blessed land.
"Hey, what happened?" Steve asked, firing toward low-level fish,Steve had noticed after Alex disclosed about the artefact Rin had become serious.
"Everything related to God is mysterious, dangerous, and fruitful; even his breath would be sufficient to make your talent reach sky high. If that boss consumes that artefact, he will turn into a disaster."
"This is it," Alex said, pointing toward the boss..
