Amoura arrived at her flat with lethargic steps. She seemed to have lost the desire to go on with her life. Sergio's presence at Irene Adler's had managed to plumb the depths of her distrust of men. She feels alone, although Max tries to encourage her when they finally part in the hotel lobby after the event.
"You can't be like this, Amoura. Irene's presence must not make you weak. On the contrary, you must appear strong in front of this woman, so that you don't let her words bother you. If you're asking why Sergio brought that woman to the party, I honestly don't know," Max said, trying to be reassuring.
"I'm not thinking about her, Max. Never mind. It's better if we don't talk about her. I'm so tired. I'll see you at work tomorrow, Max," Amoura replied, trying to change the subject.
"Shall I take you home? You don't look well," Max asked again.
