"What the hell is this? Kenneth, you're not joking, are you? How come you're just saying it now?" Amoura was surprised to hear Kenneth's words.
"Because I just got an email back from there two days ago. And, they waited a week for my reply. So, I decided to accept it. Besides, I'd love to continue my studies there," Kenneth replied trying to convince and strengthen his opinion in front of his parents. But
"You accepted it without consulting us first, Kenneth? Then, what do you think your parents are?" Amoura said unable to contain her anger.
"Oh, Mom. Please. Don't act like this. I just want to learn to be independent by living away from you. Please let me go," Kenneth replied in a manner that was as casual as possible in response to his mother's high tone. Because, he thought his mother was just teasing him.
