"Darling, I want to get close to Vincent Maraj. No! I need to get close to him at all cost.'' Sabrina was determined.
Tia furrowed her brows. ''Why?''
''I might need to get more evidence to prove my hypothesis but I am willing to do so.'' Sabrina placed the glass of wine on the table and turned to face Tia. ''Darling, I think Vincent might be the one.''
''The one?'' Tia stared at Sabrina for a short while and placed her hand on her lips in shock. ''You mean the… the one the mysterious man spoke about? The timer, did it stop?''
''Not only did it stop, it also added a few hours to my lifespan. A few days ago, when I met him by chance, I found out that the timer stopped moving the moment he touched me. Not only that, there were a few hours added to my lifespan. Tonight, when Vincent held my hand, the same thing happened.''
''Darling, this means there is hope for us. I told you not to give up. See how the universe is helping us out?'' Tia couldn't stop giggling.
''Don't be too excited yet. Vincent isn't an easy target. I can tell he doesn't like me. He thinks I'm a crazy woman.''
''Darling, it doesn't matter. Leave everything to me. I will make sure I put you and Vincent Maraj in the same space. Even if I have to go to hell to do so.'' Tia smirked and picked up her phone. ''I am going to start contacting a few people in the industry. I must get my hands on Vincent Maraj's schedule.''

S.T. Studio.
''No! It's not that I don't love you. It's because I loved you too much. I loved you more than my own life. I always thought that you were too good for me. Every night, I cry myself to sleep because of how much I missed you.''
''But no more. I've thought about this carefully, Fred and this is what's best for me. I don't want to indulge in this toxicity anymore.'' The voice of the speaker was filled with sadness and regret.
Exhaling deeply, the owner of the voice shed a tear. A heartbreaking sigh escaped through her lips.
''I can't love you more than I do me. Have a nice life, Fred!''
Outside the booth, the sound engineer and the director couldn't help but be engrossed in the dubbing that was ongoing.
Sabrina was the one inside the booth, speaking the parts of the female lead. She was dubbing a movie that was soon to be released.
''Sabrina really is the goddess of dubbing. My heart was racing throughout the scene.'' The director was utterly impressed with Sabrina's acting.
Sabrina removed the headphones and hanged them on the mic handle before going out of the booth. ''Director, how was it?'' Sabrina asked.
''Beautiful! Sabrina, I almost cried just hearing your voice. Your voice was so enchanting to listen to.'' The Director shook Sabrina's hand excitedly.
''It's good if you like it.'' Sabrina smiled.
''Everyone, let's take a break. I brought us brunch.'' Tia arrived with Lucia. They came with snacks and drinks. ''Everyone, have some drinks and snacks. Director, here…''
Tia held Sabrina's hand and pulled her outside the mixing room. ''Darling, look what I got here…'' Tia opened her purse and removed an invitation card.
''What is this?'' Sabrina asked as they sat at the hall of the studio.
''This is an invitation card to Pat Terkins birthday party. It is tonight.'' Tia replied. ''I heard from reliable sources that Vincent Maraj is going to be in attendance. Pat Terkins has a close relationship with Vincent so he is going to be there. I managed to get you an invite to the party.''
''Pat Terkins, isn't he an executive at Vogue Magazine, USA?'' Sabrina looked at the card and smiled.
''Exactly. I got in touch with his secretary and he gave me the invite. He has been wanting to have a chat with you. Darling, you are going to be attend the party tonight. I've got everything ready and all you have to do is catch Vincent and make him yours.''
Sabrina smiled. ''I just need to have a few minutes with him. I am doing this to survive. For myself and for Bia. I won't mess this up.''
''That's the right attitude.''
As they were chatting, Lucia rushed into the hall from outside. ''Sis, there is trouble. Sabrina is in a scandal…'' Lucia announced. She showed them her phone.
What?'' Both Sabrina and Tia exclaimed.
Tia immediately took her phone to check. There were pictures of Sabrina and Vincent together at the club. Most of the pictures were a little misleading.
''This… isn't this a few days ago?'' Sabrina snatched Lucia's phone and started reading the writeup.
''You haven't been in any scandal since you started your career. This is your first dating scandal and is with a powerful man…'' Lucia was a hopeless romantic. All she could think of daily was pair couples up.
''Shut up! This is not the time to be fantasying. This isn't good at all.'' Tia sighed.
''I'm doomed!'' Sabrina sighed.
Meanwhile at Tyme Magazine.
The news of the dating scandal quickly spread all over the company and the workers were already discussing it in small groups. Georgia stood at the stairs and warned all of them.
''Are you all tired of working here? Will you stop gossiping and go back to your duties?'' Georgia shook her head and rushed to the CEO's office. When she entered, she saw Vincent holding his phone.
''CEO, did you already?'' Georgia knew at once that Vincent had seen the news.
''Get this taken down immediately.'' Vincent spoke.
''I tried getting into with them, but… I haven't been able to reach TMZ. It's like they are avoiding talking to us. The news is already trending worldwide on social media platforms. I'm afraid it might take a while before this dies down.'' Georgia explained.
''Georgia, I don't care how you do it, but I want this news and all the pictures taken down by the close of today.''
''Alright! Noted, Sir!'' Georgia walked out of the office.
'Sabrina Van…. I shouldn't have been a busybody. I only have myself to blame.'' Vincent gritted his teeth.
The scandal was spreading like wildfire. Sabrina couldn't leave the studio because the building was surrounded by paparazzi waiting to ambush her with questions. She hid inside Tia's office while Tia tried her best to get the pictures taken down.
''How is it going?'' Sabrina asked Tia.
''Damn TMZ. I hate them because they are so nosy and unbridled. They refused to take down the pictures.''
''Sis, I just checked and this is their page with the most views in years. I think it's because it involves Sabrina and that imposing CEO. This is the first time the two of them are in a scandal.''
''Lucia, can you stop reporting to me what is happening in the internet already? I know!''
''Okay!'' Lucia turned off the screen and moved to stand next to Sabrina. ''Sis, how does it feel to be in your first scandal ever?''
Sabrina looked at Lucia and asked back. ''Do I look like I'm enjoying it?''
''I have an idea. What if we use this scandal to our advantage? The CEO already save Sabrina twice this week along. And from the pictures, they have a lot of chemistry. The sexual tension is oozing out from the pictures and even the netizens are saying the same thing. You can use this chance to get closer to the CEO.''
''Lucia, get out!'' Tia yelled.
Lucia chuckled and hurried out of the office.
''The only thing on her mind is romance. This girl is the bane of my existence.'' Tia ran her hand through her hair exhaustedly.
Tyme Magazine…
''Listen, I don't care how you do it, but we need to get something trending right now. Mr. Maraj was at a charity event last week. Put that on the internet and let it trend. Use bots if you have to.'' Georgia said as she stood at the head of the table with five workers of the PR department.
Georgia looked at her wristwatch and sighed. ''This isn't good. The CEO is going to be at Pat's party. The paparazzi will not let this chance go at all. I need to get extra bodyguards ready by tonight…''

Beverly Hills.
When Sabrina walked out of her bedroom wearing the McQueen f/w 2019 draped sapphire corset silk satin dress, Tia and Bia stood up. They clapped their hands and gave Sabrina a thumbs up.
''Perfect! Darling, this dress was made for you. I knew you would do justice to it but you look so beautiful more than I expected.'' Tia looked at Sabrina and shook her head. ''Tia, you have such good eyes.'' She praised herself.
''Aunt, where are you going, dressed so prettily?'' Bia asked.
''Your Aunt is going to bring him an uncle for you.'' Tia blurted out.
''Hey! Don't put ideas into the girl's head. I am attending a birthday party.'' Sabrina patted Bia's head.
''Birthday party? Aunt, this dress is making you stand out. What if you attract the wrong kind of people?''
