Hex was fidgeting being in the presence of so many Earth dwellers.
He could also sense they were weary of him but not as much as him of them.
In his old life, with a weapon he could barely rival four Earth dwellers while running away and using tricks. All of his cards were in that life; now he had to play new cards.
If there was a graveyard, there had to be numerous people looking over it; if he could get to them, he may be able to persuade them to buy some time.
First, he had to get past the Earth dwellers, whose numbers grew as he spent more time devising his strategy.
The only ace move he could use here was the talent he had just acquired; if his reflexes were swift enough, he may escape with half his nice looks intact.
"Fuck going bald! Come at me, dead bastards!" Hex yelled to rouse the Earth dwellers, and to his astonishment, it succeeded.

All in unison five Earth dwellers charged him with ravaging intent.
Hex gulped hard clenching his fist and betting strongly on his skill.

Hex saw the move coming, an Earth dweller lashing its horrifying claws at his face. His head jerked back, allowing the strike to miss his face.
'These bastards must have been ugly before they died because they're going after my good looks.'

An Earth dweller doves at Hex fang first but to it's astonishment, Hex sidestepped dodging the attack.
He does not stop there, instead projecting his knee forward and thrusting it into the Earth dweller's belly, causing it to yell and collapse to the ground, squirming.
'Hehehe, these reflexes are too good! With this, I will be unstoppable.'
"Krieeecchk!" The Earth dwellers snarled and began to retreat back, realizing the dominance disparity. They needed to change their tactics.
"You small fries are afraid?" Hex bragged establishing how unstoppable he just became.
A cheat skill he didn't need to train to perfect, the best gift of reincarnation a lazy obnoxious coward could have.

Hex screamed within himself. The Phantom thwarted his major escape strategy. 'What a stupid piece of junk! I am dead!'
Hex returned his eyes to the Earth dwellers, who were now becoming smug and hungry for human flesh.
'Earth dwellers can sense fear and I am beginning to ooze a lot of it out, shit! They will tear me apart if I keep on freaking out.'
"Arrrrggg!" Hex raised his sight to the sky, where he saw something even more horrible than his current situation.
The menacing creature in the sky drew even the attention of the Earth dwellers.
Wait a minute! The Earth dwellers searched the sky for the terrifying figure but found nothing, all they saw were empty skies. If the skies were empty then what was....
The Earth dwellers froze in shock unable to believe what they saw. Hex was no longer standing in the same location he had previously.
Growls began to erupt from the Earth dwellers as they realized one thing, they had been duped.
