Chapter 9 - True Love

Nameless woke up in his home again.

"So it wasn't a dream, I'm really back."

He felt slightly empty but he still woke up and took care of himself.

He went down to eat breakfast before his mother welcomed him with a plentiful breakfast.

Although the breakfast was a good gesture, he couldn't help but feel slightly irritated.

"You told me you will not interfere again!"

His mother couldn't help but feel slightly down : "I'm sorry my child, I will but can you atleast call me mom?"

Nameless was even more irritated but he relented : "okay, mom!"

Her mood instantly lifted up : "okay, let's have breakfast this one time."

He sat and ate an omelette with some bread, he didn't like indulging in too many carbs in breakfast so he didn't touch anything else.

His mom kept trying to converse with him but he only responded with small words.

his mom however wasn't disappointed, she could he was slowly warming up to her.

...

Days passed which turned into months.

Although his body was still in a rough shape, it was slightly better but Nameless regretted losing that powerful body although it was all a dream but it had felt so real.

In these months, although Nameless avoided his mother and father but some of the barriers had been removed, he had started working out as well as looking for a job.

He couldn't help but feel life was more than this but he still settled for this life, he couldn't find more.

He eventually found a job he loved, it was writing books.

He began his literary carrer by writing some fictional books as well as some philosophy and self-help books before finally writing a book of poetry.

He had gone through a lot of hardships, he knew what worked and what didn't.

Most of these books were written by people while they were comfortably sipping their coffee on their desks while he had real life experiences which made his books more rich and true in their content.

As he expected, his books sold like hot cakes, so much so that he became famous nearly overnight. This encouraged Nameless even more in his literary carrer.

What readers most liked in his books was his intensity and the emotions he evoked. He seemed like someone who could truly touch their hearts, who could feel and understand what it meant to be a human being.

Nameless still hated the world but slowly and gradually that hatred started to vanish.

...

One day, Nameless had just gotten out of a meeting with his editor while engrossed in his thoughts, he crashed into a person holding documents in the hallway.

"My apologies, I wasn't paying attention."

he extended his hand before pulling the person from the stack of documents that had fallen on them.

What came out however was something he couldn't have imagined.

Two pairs of eyes met each other. They felt their hearts pulsating, an indescribable atmosphere rapidly spread.

Love at first sight.

An incredibly beautiful face that looked straight from a painting appeared before him, blue eyes that looked like pure blue crystal and blonde hair that looked like golden tapestry, she looked incredibly gorgeous.

To him she seemed so beautiful, so different from ordinary people that he could not understand why no one was as disturbed as he was by her existence, why no one else's heart was as wild with the breeze stirred by the sighs of her veils.

"I'm really sorry! I wasn't watching my steps."

She stood up, tidying her clothes and apologising before offering a handshake.

"My name is Eve, what's your name?"

Nameless was as still as a statue, he was blown away by her, so much so that a part of him thought that he either was influenced or he was on a drug.

"Eve..."

"Yes, my name is Eve, I'm sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?"

"No, I was just lost in my thoughts. my name is Nameless."

"Nameless? isn't your name XXXXX. Nameless is your alias Hahaha. I work here so I have to stay updated on our most famous writers."

Nameless was slightly taken back, he hasn't heard that name in so long, he felt weird about it but he didn't give it much thought yet seeing her say it in such a way made her all the more mystifying.

"I'm actually a fan of yours, I loved "Melody of eternity". it was such a brilliant book. the poetry was so beautiful and striking."

"Yeah, I wrote it with that intent." Nameless smiled and spoke.

"I...I know this may sound a bit inappropriate but can I have your number? and maybe we can have a cup of coffe some- someti- sometimes?... hehehe" Eve blushed, touching her fingers shyly before saying.

"Hahaha, yeah here you go. I, too would love to discuss my books with you. I haven't met many fans because of my alias."

"Really? Thank you so much! se- see you later." Eve spoke before picking up the documents and taking the stairs, not forgetting to wave back at Nameless before that.

Nameless waved back too.

...

The ocean of time carried the ship of the world and months passed.

In these months, Nameless and Eve had gotten very close to each other.

What started as a simple cup of coffee talking about his book turned into heated discussions.

Nameless was very surprised by her wittiness, she had very creative ideas which impressed even him.

Aside from being beautiful, she was charming, well-mannered, intelligent and it seemed she really liked his work which made him even more passionate about it, improving his work even further.

She also had a magical feeling about her, Nameless couldn't help but be enraptured and captivated by her.

She seemed like a world of her own.

Eve also seemed like she loved him too. despite being serious and even arguing about what was better in his work, she would laugh, be shy at times and smile wildly as they discussed. She also took his work seriously and loved his expressive words and poetic writing.

It didn't take long for Nameless to realise she was an editor in the company that had published him, immediately switching to her as his editor.

His work became so successful thanks to her that her sole work in the publishing company was to take care of him.

Nameless and Eve always kept each other's company, working around the clock and having fun at the same time, they had a lot in common. It was like they were born for each other, like a key to a lock, they were a natural couple.

They traveled together, they conversed and had romantic dinners. They had great chemistry, an eye signal to the other could express their inner heart and even convey all their intention to the other's mind.

It didn't take long before they confessed their feelings to each other and began dating.

Eve accompanied Nameless through everything. They talked about each other's feelings, they wrote poems about each other. They were playful as well as romantic.

All the problems that natural couples had never existed for them. They simply loved each other.

One day as they layed under the willows at his favourite spot, to his surprise he noticed the lone duck he used to watch also had found a partner. The lone duck finally wasn't as reckless as before and would be with other ducks.

this whole story was told to Eve making her laugh so hard. The fact that he saw himself in a duck and both finally got partners.

She couldn't help but lean in forward as she was laughing to plant a few kisses on his cheeks.

Nameless immediately flipped her and forced himself on top of her before a long French kiss was exchanged.

A small distance away, a few parents forced their children to turn and close their eyes.

Seeing people looking at him surprised because he was kissing his woman in front of their kids, Nameless couldn't help but feel slightly shy, Eve's face was fully red.

"I told you, stop doing this in public." she shyly mumbled.

Nameless couldn't help it, he felt such love for her, he felt he couldn't live without her, she was the light in his life.

He didn't even think before picking her up and walking with her in his arms making even the people watching blush.

Eve completely hid her face, she didn't want to be seen like this with her man in front of all these strangers.

Nameless didn't let her down until the whole park had already seen her.

As they arrived at his car about to depart he finally let her down. She couldn't help but hit his chest again and again expressing her anger at what he did.

Nameless couldn't help but laugh, she looked as red as a tomato yet within his heart, he couldn't help but feel warmth and love for her even more.

She was the only one who understood him and the only one he could talk so openly with and even love.

"I love you Eve."

Eve turned to him before lovingly looking at him and caressing his face

"I love you XXXX."

Nameless hugged her and they exchanged kisses.

"Can you stop calling me XXXX, I told you my true name is Nameless."

"Why? I like XXXX. its a pretty name."

...

Time passed and in this period, Nameless and Eve lived as a true couple.

They held hands and walked together, they wrote together, they slept together, they ate together, they played together. Everything they did, they did together.

Barely 3 years had passed yet they were already about to be married.

Before the marriage however, his mother died. Nameless felt bad for her but at least they had somewhat reconciled.

It was finally the day of the marriage.

Nameless held Eve's hand as they were congratulated by their families.

"I, XXXX, take you, to be my wife. I promise to be faithful to you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love you and to honor you until death do us part."

"I, Eve, take XXXX to be my husband. I promise to be faithful to you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love you and to honor you until death do us apart."

Nameless then put the ring on Eve's finger before they finally were declared married and kissed passionately.

Nameless felt glad he wasn't stuck in that other world and had come back. In that love, he felt everything was so blissful.

Eve was left red after the kiss while Nameless had lipstick all over his lips.

Even the old people in the audience sighed at how young people had such vigour.

...

Time passed.

Nameless and Eve bought their own home, they wrote their own poems and books, they had more fun, more love, more cherished moments and experiences filled with true love.

Nameless and Eve were in such love that everyday life seemed like heaven.

All the hatred, trials and pain that were deeply ingrained in his heart had been washed away by her.

It didn't take long for Eve to become pregnant.

Nameless was elated, he was going to be a father.

it was a son, Eve decided his name. his name was Adam.

However as she was giving birth, complications had appeared and Eve needed a C-section to give birth.

The surgery began succesfully before it failed and Eve ended up breathing her last.

Nameless felt his heart shatter.

neither Adam nor Eve survived.

He had died before but now he was truly dead.
