Richard slowly made his way to the principal's office, his footsteps echoing in the hallway as he did. While he headed there, he mused inwardly, "For things to work, I'm going to have to acquire his contact so I can call him. Because I was originally not an author who paid much attention to detail, I never wrote the phone numbers of any characters. Now that I think about it, is there an author who does? If an author wanted to write a scene where a character made a call, they would simply say the character picked up their phone, dialed a number, and then the phone began to ring. But something like that isn't going to work now that I'm in the world of my novel. I have to actually have his contact information if I want to be able to talk to him."
Arriving just in front of the principal's office, Richard mused further, "Hopefully she doesn't decide to throw a dagger again this time." Richard then slid the door open and stepped in.
