Silas opened up his status screen and began to see the rankings of players in the game. Aside from that he began seeing the video feeds of top players' battles.
'Hm? I didn't know that there was a feature like this,' Silas thought as he clicked on the very top video of the top player in the game.
'Silverfang?' Silas recognized the player. It wasn't too long ago that she obtained the world's first demon grade weapon.
Silas was really impressed when he watched the video of her against two divine beasts. She had very long white hair and had a white fox mask on, she vanished and appeared at random locations, too fast for even Silas to see clearly. Comments were popping up like flowing water and Silas even had a hard time seeing the video clearly.
"I wonder if I'm strong enough to defeat a divine beast," Silas mumbled as he saw the lady take down two divine beasts and Karvon scoffed.
"You're not even close to that level."
"Yeah, divine beats are monsters who have ascended. It is rare to see them on the lower heavens, so you'll have to ascend before you'll have a higher chance of seeing one," Juliet said before she suddenly dashed forward passed the area where the vapugs stayed.
Karvon suddenly vanished from his position and Silas sped passed the vapugs nest. The same occurrence again and the creatures chased him while shooting out green bullets of condensed green energy.
He finally made it out and met up with Karvon and Juliet and he stopped and followed them.
'The top player was really strong, I can't wait to reach that level.' Silas was already excited for the future.
Ahead of them was the large space before the entrance, there Silas saw more than a hundred monsters there and then he was shocked as he didn't see this much when they entered the crypts.
"I'll take care of it," Karvon said as he stepped forward.
He didn't even summon his scythe and just pointed his hand forward. Dark coloured flames of black suddenly began to burn from the ground from his location. He made it spread around as he furrowed his brows and soon roars and wails of the creatures reached their ears.
Silas was shocked as he stared at the sea of flames burning the creatures, the heat began to hurt him and he had to use a thin layer of chi to cover his entire body. His control of chi was very high as of this point as he always used it.
Silas saw a few flying creatures which were unharmed from the attack and before he could even act, a weapon suddenly zoomed past the bird, severing its head from its body.
The scythe turned into a beam of red light as it sliced all flying creatures, increasing the number of crying creatures.
'I really have to focus on increasing my power, that punch that I received from this bastard still hurts,' Silas thought with gritted teeth.
Soon the sea of flames calmed down and Silas saw absolutely no bodies of the creatures. The entire place stank like burned meat and they all jumped up towards the exit and landed there. Silas turned around and gazed down at the ashen battlefield and he nodded and continued out of the crypts.
They jumped up out of another hole after walking for a bit. They emerged from a cave and then they were greeted by the bright red sky and the rest of the forest.
The roars of demons from all around the forest reached his ears and he then looked at Juliet and Karvon.
"Let's head back to the sanctuary," Silas said as he dashed in one direction towards the sanctuary, raising up dust as he passed.
Juliet looked at Karvon and he touched her shoulder and they vanished as if they were folded into the air.
Silas finally got to the sanctuary to see the people all settled down on the ground eating and chatting happily.
He walked into the sanctuary to see the grand open space with a large mirror on one side and stairs leading upwards. Ahead of him was the throne which was very grand and he felt an ominous pressure coming from it. Whatever it was, he didn't feel it before when he was in the sanctuary.
'What?' Silas cleaned his eyes as he was seeing Karvon and Juliet in front of him talking and he then sighed.
'Sometimes I wonder what their true capabilities are,' Silas thought with a smile as he made his way towards them.
Minova saw him and bowed 90 degrees.
"My lord." She addressed him.
"How are the people?" Silas asked as he got to them.
"Well, good news is that we have some architects and construction workers among them. We were all able to learn the basis of chi and they'll start cultivating soon," Minova said and then Silas and the others smiled.
"That's progress," Silas said with a smile as he looked at the storage ring in his hand.
He opened his palm and then a book appeared in his hand. He looked at the plain cover which only had a few words on it – [Shadow serpent art].
He handed it to Minova and then Juliet got confused.
"Master, that's an immortal grade martial art," Juliet told him with a surprised look on her face.
"Hm? How high is it above demon grade?" Silas asked.
"Three times… three times above demon grade."
"Good," Silas was satisfied with his decision and then he looked at Karvon who seemed rather indulged in his own thoughts.
"Do any of you know a way I can copy and distribute this?" Silas asked and then Juliet took the book from Minova and looked at it dearly.
An immortal grade martial art like that could go for more than 70 million spirit coins and all the beast cores they sold before couldn't even make it up.
Juliet sighed as she just put her hand over the book and then with a wave of her hand, her energy expanded to cover a portion of space and soon stacks and more stacks of the same books began to appear around.
"Good job. I'm not going to be back to Hell anytime soon, so after they all know how to control chi very well, you distribute these. My army has to be mighty and powerful," Silas said with a deep tone as he clenched his fist with an evil smirk.
