Chapter 44 - The Ark

Despite knowing where the people were suffering, Noah couldn't even leave his position. Instead, there he was, gazing at the 66-feet tall blazing demon that was climbing out of the volcano's mouth. He was familiar to the demon, being the one that he killed during the Crusade; Nibiru. Before, this demon was of royal status, not even gazing at the humans that worshipped it. Now, he was wrathful, with a burning glare laying down upon humanity and to the man that killed it with hatred.

Without moving an inch from his position, Noah fired a beam of light up the sky, which was seen all over the world. Its purpose? To alert all the Servants of God and those who received His blessings of an impending disaster.

Still, he wasn't even given a second to process the other things as multiple eruptions that are similar from the first one began happening all across the world. Several volcanoes of the same size and magnitude began to appear throughout Earth. In mere minutes, millions of people were slaughtered without even being able to take in all that was happening right in front of them.

He felt hundreds of presence equal to that of the resurrected demon Nibiru. Noah's body shook with terror. He can't even begin to think of what his next move would be. Then, there came a message in his mind.

"Gather the people at the Ark."

Hearing that, Noah's eyes lit up. Rushing back to the city of Amare, he began to order the people to enter the Ark. Although he knows that he cannot save all of the people, he needs to save all those he can.

While they were evacuating the people into the Ark, people from the other city also came, which Noah welcomed with open arms.

Watching the people come in droves while panicking, Noah then saw a blinding light coming from the sky. There, he saw a man dressed in pure and holy white robes. Every strand of his white hair exudes a greater divine prowess as compared to Noah's. Behind him were 72 pairs of wings and ten other four-winged beings clad in divine armor, armed with spears that emits a radiance as bright as the stars in the sky.

In the man's right hand was a white, undefiled scroll, exuding an inviolable, quintessential authority over all, and on his left was a thick black brush emanating a terrifyingly cold aura. Together, the two items in the hands of the being balanced each other in total harmony.

Looking at Noah, the man said to him in a powerful voice, "Holy, holy, is the God of All! All of Existence shines bright through his Glory!"

The angels behind him, as if a choir, repeated what he said in a harmonic heavenly tune, "Holy, holy, is the God of All! All of Existence shines bright through his Glory!"

"Holy, holy, is the God of All! All of Existence shines bright through his Glory!"

"Holy, holy, is the God of All! All of Existence shines bright through his Glory!"

Only when the man raised his hand did the angels stopped. "Behold, Noah, ye blessed Servant of God, The Almighty's commands are upon thee! The time for judgement hath come! Bringeth the Sacred Chest to the bow of the Ark. That is the word of our God!"

After saying that, the divine being and the ten angels behind him vanished as if they weren't even there in the first place.

As ordered, Noah flew to the front of the ship and landed. As soon as he did so, the chest within him rumbled. Coming out of his body, the chest floated above the Ark, surrounded by a brilliant and magnificent light. Slowly, the Sacred Chest opened its lid and, from it, the words of The Almighty poured out.

In ancient runes, it said to the people, "All of you who serves goodness within your heart shall live fruitfully for years to come. You shall be free from the constraints of thirst and hunger. You are delivered from sins and no harm shall stand in your way. Those who have died in the glory of My name shall rise up together in the ranks of the angels to enjoy the fruitful blessings of life eternal in the Divine Kingdom in Heaven. All of you who has the blood of the demons coursing through your veins, succumbing to the evil in your mind, shall be flayed and tortured, burned for years to come, you who step on dreams of peace and harmony within My world. Suffer for eternal years in my wrath. With My power and the power of all existence on Earth and beyond, I give you My word that all that is said is absolute."

The words, as it expanded its reach and surrounded the Ark, began to cast a tangible barrier, protecting it from the outside world. All over Earth, believers and those with goodness in their heart began to vanish and reappear within the Ark. Despite their initial disbelief, it seems that they really have been saved.

Noah, as much as he believes in the power of God, could not believe what he was seeing. The Ark, despite its meager size compared to the millions that it saved, unbelievably had space to accommodate all of them! Clasping his hands, Noah praised with adoration, "Truly, I say, that the glory of The Almighty is beyond our comprehension! What God wills shalt hold true!"

As he was standing in front of the ship, he began to hear the blaring noises of trumpets above the sky. Underground, mounds upon mounds of cracks appeared as lava seeped its way out of the land. Numerous claws began clawing the remaining soil that blocked their way as demons poured out of the cracks.

"Shriek!" The demons cried out to the sky.

In response, together with the sound of trumpets, a harmonic choir sung with praise, "Glory to The Great Almighty! Come and beseech He who shall give you mercy!"
