Chapter 30 - Going Back To The Village

Not even realizing it, every single one of them fell to their knees at the sight of this being. Noah, knowing full well who they were in front of, bowed and kowtowed, murmuring, "This Servant greets The Almighty God…"

The others were to immersed in His light that they hadn't realized or heard what he said.

As for Paimon, who was the facing the direct brunt of this metaphysical incarnation of God, his dromedary had already been forced to kneel even before the others did. Falling from his mount, he was also forced to prostrate himself down. "Kekeke… Greetings, Lord Almighty, Lord's Father."

"I command thee to cede this mountain." The shining "kid" said as the personification of God.

'As thou wilt, I shalt leave." After saying that, Dawid brought down his hand and let Paimon crawl back to his mount. The demons that hadn't been moving since also resumed to march behind the Great Daemon as his dromedary paced away.

When the Great Demon had finally disappeared from their sight, Dawid returned to being a simple child. Energy being sipped up from the child entirely, Dawid fell unconscious, his body almost as pale as snow.

"Dawid!" Noah stood up and rushed to his side. Holding the kid felt like he was holding a dead person, but the faint heartbeat proved him otherwise.

The others finally woke up from their stupor and ran to their side. "What… was that, Master Noah?" The men asked.

"Do not inquire any further." Noah shut them off bluntly, much to the shock of everybody. Noah, for quite a long time, had been approachable and understanding. He wasn't someone to dismiss a person's inquiry in any occasion. This, for them, was quite the first time.

Noah did not heed them any attention and carried Dawid in his arms. "We will begin our travel after two hours. Rest while ye can." After saying that, Noah dove deep into the forest, going up the mountains.

Without anyone bearing him down, Noah reached the mountain peak in under ten minutes. He placed Dawid down on a slab of stone and let him bask beneath the rays of the shining sun. As one of the primary sources of light, it can be used to restore the energy within Dawid's body.

Beside him, Noah held the child's hand and muttered, "My God, why did thou even pick such a child to be thy host?" Sigh.

This time, no one answered him.

About two hours later, Dawid's complexion seemed a lot better than before, having regained the color in his body, although he still hadn't woken up yet. Carrying the child, Noah descended the mountain to reunite with the men.

When Noah saw how distant the men was as soon as he returned, he realized what he did earlier. "I apologize for mine words, everyone." He said, which was also much to everyone's shock. His stature within the village is at a level where he doesn't even need to say sorry for something that he had done. As a representative of God on Earth, his words could also become His Words, which means anything that he says carries a lot of weight.

"Master Noah…"

"Thou doth not need to apologize! We will always forgive thee!" The men said to him.

"No." Noah knew what they were thinking about, and therefore said what needs to be said, "It is because I am a Servant of God that I must apologize for what I did wrong. Anything I do might reflect on Him, and I doth not wantest to sully His reputation in the hearts of Man."

"I apologize for dismissing the questions in thy minds and not explaining why to each and every one of ye. Dawid had received a blessing none can refuse. It is of utmost importance that any details of the blessing that he received to be hidden, lest he be targeted by the Great Demons and even other humans who seeks power for themselves."

"Who even gave Dawid their blessings?" The soldiers asked with looks of ignorance in their faces.

"I thank ye all for keeping this secret." Noah bowed slightly towards them, thinking that they were feigning ignorance about the matter to keep the secret. Unbeknownst to him, the soldiers really did not know anything because His aura had been too overwhelming to even hear or see anything other than His figure.

With Noah pleased and the men confused as to why the Servant of God thanked them and did not answer their question, they began their journey back to the village. Imagine everyone's shock when the sight of vulgarity and obscenity filling the entire village was what they first saw as soon as they returned.

Doors wide open, food and goods scattered on the ground, several men and women lying on the ground, doing licentious deeds; That were only some of the sights that was presented to them.

"What is this?!" Angered, Noah shouted with great magnitude, reverberating throughout the entire village. His voice, laced with the powers of divinity, seemed to have little to no effect to the people as they continued their intercourse on the street, moaning and screaming in pleasure.

"M-Master Noah!" Noah and the men heard someone scream. Listening to it carefully, it seems that the direction where it came from was the village hall.

"Gaston, stay close. We do not know what happened here." Noah commanded, to which one of his men nodded.

They rushed towards the hall, where he and the others saw Lamech, Ilmar, and Elric with their hands clasped and legs crossed, sitting on the ground.

"What's happening?" Noah asked with solemnity. There must be some kind of natural phenomenon influencing this.

"That's a demon, I tell you. A demon!" Lamech yelled in fear and frustration. "Explain, Father." Noah asked.

"Didn't thou feeleth it?" Lamech shouted in a whisper, "That must be the works of the demon! That could only be it!"

To their shock, Noah shook his head and said to them, "It isn't."
