Chapter 21 - God is With Us All!

They also saw the children, looking at them with saddened faces. Those that had this look were mostly those who were rescued by Noah from being sacrifices to the beast. As someone who promised them safety within God's embrace, Noah could not bear to see them like that.

"Everyone!" Noah shouted. Of course, even before he called for all the people within the village, the attention was already directed at him a long time ago. "God did not abandon us, nor will He ever do so!" He added with strong faith.

"This is a test from Him that we must face sooner or later! We do not know what challenges we would face next, so we must steel ourselves to face them every minute and every second!" His speech undoubtedly brought hope into a lot of people's eyes. He then added with great power within his voice, influenced by the divinity within him, "God is with us all!"

"God is with us all!"

"God is with us all!"

"God is with us all!"

The cries and yell of every person who believed in Him shook the surroundings. Seen with the naked eye, this was already one of the greatest scenes one can ever witness, as faith unified all hearts as one, but when seen with the eyes of the divine, it reaches a far greater level of magnitude.

As the people shouted with fervor and belief, a strong surge of divine light shot upwards, surpassing the limits of the naked eye. With the sheer size of the beam of light, every demon noticed it.

"It's You again?! Arghhhh!" In one of the Great Demon Palaces, anger was evident within the being's voice.

All the demons that saw it either grew complacent, completely in fear, angered, or thankful. Some even began to hid from the outside world, secluding themselves to avoid the chaos that would happen there. On the other hand, the demons that were truly going against His Authority sent their most powerful henchmen to hunt the people who produced the said divine pillar.

Soon, the world would be once again embroiled in chaos and unrest.

As for those who sparked said chaos, they first halted the construction of the Ark and instead focused on research, trying all kinds of method and materials to create it. Even Noah was pulled in to cooperate in the research. When there wasn't anything to do, he would practice his divine magic in its defensive aspect.

Weeks after this started, the village received news from the outside world from the other members of The Knights Templar.

"Masters, I come bearing bad news." The messenger, donning an emerald-colored cloak and leather armor within, said to them as he hurriedly went down his horse.

"What is it?" Noah, who had been luckily outside at this time as he watched over the men, asked.

"Who art thee?" the messenger, wary of this mysterious man, asked.

"I am Noah, son of Lamech, one of the founding fathers of The Knights Templar." To that, the messenger scoffed, "The founder hadst been gone for more than a hundred years. He would've been all wrinkly by now. Don't kid me." After saying that, the messenger avoided him entirely.

"Thou'st dareth to embarrass the founder like that. Art thou courting death?" to the messenger's shock, a cold voice struck him as the old masters Lamech and Ilmar stepped forward together with the other village leaders and confronted him.

"T-This..!" Seeing the seven village leaders themselves step forward to back Noah, he immediately regrated everything he had just said. Kneeling down, he quickly apologized, "This lowly man is sorry, Lord Founder. I beg for thy forgiveness."

Seeing him, Noah laughed and shook his head. Stopping the leaders from harassing the messenger, he helped the latter up, "All of His believers are my brothers, so thou shouldn't kneel towards me. Kneel only to our God."

"I understand. Thank you for your kindness, Lord Founder!" The messenger nodded like a pecking chicken.

"What news doth thou needeth to deliver?" Fearing that the conversation might become too long, Ilmar stepped forward and asked, which made the messenger realize it. "Right."

He then faced everyone and announced solemnly, "According to a hearsay within the Demon Army, the descent of chaos would once again ravage the world. The Three King Armies and ten other demon armies have responded and began their march, and it seems that their path all leads to the village."

Everyone went silent. "Are you sure?" Ilmar asked with worry. The Three King Armies were notorious for being under the stout leadership of the demons Bael, Beelzebub, and Asmodei, three of the most powerful demons that went and are still going against The Almighty's rule. With their size numbering to six million demonic spirits, The Three King Armies were one of the greatest reasons why the rebellion against the demons' rule became inevitable.

Adding to that the ten other demon armies, it goes to say that they seem to be certain that the rebels who worships the Almighty is here and they are focusing all their power here.

Whilst they were worrying, Noah suddenly declared, "It is time for us to exclude the outside world." Everyone heard him, with them quickly turning around and looking at Noah.

"What do you mean by that, Son?" Lamech, who hadn't spoken for a while, asked him inquisitively.

"If there still are other believers spread throughout the world, call all of them to the village. All the Knights Templar are to fetch them all with haste." Noah replied. "But the village would be attacked! We may not be able to see the village again once we return!" one of the members of the Knights Templar voiced out.

"Art thou cursing us to fall?" Noah raised his eyebrow and glared at the man, which made the latter scared. "The man is right, Lord Founder. The demon army coming here is massive and would be hard to defend against."

In response to their worries, Noah struck his staff on the ground and confidently said to them, "I am a Servant of God. It would take the Fallen Prince himself to come for them to defeat me."
