Noah struck his staff on the ground and confidently said to them, "I am a Servant of God. It would take the Fallen Prince himself to come for them to defeat me."
Faced with his confidence, the others couldn't muster any rebuttal, so they could only nod and offer their wishes of good luck to them.
After the consensus, every member of The Knights Templar hurried and left to do their founder's bidding. As for the others that were left, they continued the research whilst Noah deployed a Divine Barrier surrounding the village, continuously fortifying and strengthening it.
About three weeks later, the army that they were preparing to go against finally arrived at their doorstep.
Seeing the dark sea of soldiers outside, everyone inside the village felt suffocated. Noah, with his unwavering stature, stood in front of the village gates, with staff in hand, facing the gathered demon army with no fear on his face.
"Surrender, human, and offer thy servitude to the Great Lucifer!" a huge demon, about twenty feet tall, stood in front of the opposing army.
Its skin was of metallic silver color with hints of blood red spots in some areas surrounding its head. It was also wearing a similarly gigantic armor, covering its entire body with it.
The army behind him were also tall, standing at fifteen or more feet tall, all donned in armors of steel. Their spears were also not one to scoff at as it reaches on an average of 17 feet in height.
The pressure that was being exuded from the army was too much for a lot of the men, but for Noah, it was as ticklish as the breeze hitting his skin.
Noah examined the army in front of him with blatant provocation and asked, "What does the Nephilim of the Nephtal Empire want from our beautiful village? Some of our tea, perhaps?"
"I want the believers of that Almighty to go out and surrender themselves!" The demon general replied, baring its fangs at Noah.
Noah nodded before going inside, confusing everyone inside the village and making the demons outside feel smug, thinking that the foolish human had peed himself and ran inside to give them what they want.
But soon, it was proven otherwise.
When Noah showed up once again, he held a tray filled with woodenware and tea set on his hands. Arriving in front of the gate whilst being gazed at by both the demons and the village people with looks of incredulity, he placed down the tray and picked up the teapot, pouring its content in a teacup, placed it on the ground in front of the demon, and said to them with a vibrant smile on his face, "Here's the tea thou asked for."
Angered, the naphil roared, "Art thou deaf?! I asked for the believers of that Almighty to be handed over!" Noah, with a shocked yet puzzled look on his face, then said to them, "Thou still haven't had thy tea, but thou already want one again? Is it that fragrant?"
"We don't want tea; we want the damned believers!" The naphil roared once more. "Thou really desire my village's tea? Thank the heavens." Noah held his chest and sighed with relief, as if he was pleased.
"Damn that tea! Give us the believers of that damned Go—" The naphtil wasn't even allowed to finish its sentence as its body went flying back, with its head missing and its chest caved in. the Nephilim behind him were also crushed by his massive body flying like meteor. His body alone has killed more than hundreds of thousands of Nephilim.
"Don't ever…" He emphasized with a deadpan expression, "…sully the title of The Almighty with thine filthy mouth." This time, the amiable face of Noah vanished completely and was replaced by a terrifying look lathered with the scent of death.
That 'scent' traveled for miles, being felt by all the demons that surrounded the village. Every single one of them were now fearing the terrifying existence up front.
The sight was a spectacle; one small man facing more than fifteen-foot creatures, and with the man's every move, the creatures maintain the same distance between them as if they were dancing. With their weapons raised, the demon army slowly backed off, carefully and warily looking at any movements that the human makes.
"It was obvious that I was avoiding the topic, yet thy leader still persisted with it, and even dared to vilify Him. What a stupid demon, that one is." Noah shook his head and patted his chest, as if he was pitying the dead demon's fate.
"We don't want to fight, Sorcerer." From the ranks of the demons, another quite powerful creature stepped forward. It was a pale, human-like creature, donned with a long and silky black robe, hovering in the wind. "Our only goal is to apprehend the believers of the Almighty to prevent chaos from enveloping the world" It explained with an eloquent, almost modern British accent.
Noah, looking at it with his head turned sideways, gazed at it dead in the eyes and said to him, "Well, aren't thou also a pea-brained fool?"
"What do you me—" not even being able to finish its question, the creature, like the previous one, suddenly had its head missing, but this time, without even a sign of damage in any part of its body.
But, unlike the previous demon, as soon as its body fell down, the blood in its body started to churn. In a matter of seconds, the missing head once again reformed itself. The demon army, seeing that this general of theirs hadn't died in the sorcerer's attack, cheered, thinking that they already have found the person's nemesis.
But, starkly differing from their reactions, the creature's eyes looked at him with fear in its face. Quickly, it shifted its form into that of a bat, flew up, and turned to run. It sent signals to its army as every single one of them turned to bats and prepared to fly away.
But, would Noah let them do so? Of course… not.
