"Speaketh, demon! I order thee under His authority!" Noah declared loudly, exerting his dominance over the beast, with his cloak gleaming with divine light.
"What is thy name, human?" Instead of answering, the beast asked back with a grating and guttural voice. "You hath no authority to ask me about that, beast." Noah denied answering.
"How ungentlemanly." The beast snickered. It slowly lowered its body and head at Noah's level, with its fiery eyes looking directly at Noah's. "As a formality, thou can telleth me thy name, human." It insisted.
"Noah, Son of the Lineage of Adam, Descendant of the ascended Enoch." Noah's eyes suddenly started to lose focus before actually responding absentmindedly. When he realized what he had just done, he was shocked.
"Yes…" The beast cackled in a deranged manner as it ascended back to a height higher than Noah.
"Now, Noah, Son of the Lineage of Adam…" Soon, the beast spoke with a strong voice, "I command thee as a Being that precedes thy God Himself; Kneel."
Boom!
With a disbelieving expression on his face, Noah plopped down on his knees, not being able to get up. He looked at the beast with a puzzled and shocked look on his face.
The beast gazed at Noah as it chuckled, before slowly speaking, "Hath He not introduced me to thee, Noah?"
Noah shook his head.
"Then, let me assume that responsibility for Him." The beast said, which, to Noah's mind, was not only preposterous, but also blasphemous. Still, he couldn't speak.
"I am one of the two beings that precedes thy God. I am the Master of Wrath, Greed, and Pride. I am the Lord of Serpents, Emotions, Power, and The Seas."
"I am Leviathan, devourer of worlds, one of the vilest creatures of all." The beast growled, "Fear me, and thou shall gain power like no other."
Noah was silent. He was trying to stand up, but to no avail. Of course, Leviathan knows that. "Stop thine pointless struggles, mortal. Thou art no match to a power of mine being that is stronger than thy willpower itself."
Despite all that the beast said, Noah's eyes remained persistent, trying to do all that it takes to overcome the beast in front of him.
After a while without progress, Noah almost reached the verge of giving up, when suddenly…
"Prayeth to our God with thy heart, soul, and devotion, and He shall answer thine call."
Noah's eyes widened. It was one of the passages within the power that was given to him by his ancestor, Enoch.
Although he cannot stand, he could still barely control his arms. With his hands clasped together, he started to pray.
"Oh? What is this?" Leviathan tilted its head with intrigue. With a laugh, it increased the intensity of the pressure that was bearing down on the man.
Noah, feeling the sharp increase, almost unclasped his hands in prayer. Still, with his strong will, he persevered continuously.
Soon, the great beast started to get annoyed as it began to strengthen its assault. Despite all that, Noah bore it all.
In fact, after Leviathan's last attack, Noah started to rise, his right foot stepped forward as he used it as leverage to start standing up.
The Leviathan's rage started bubbling up as it saw the resistance of such a meager mortal human. He was someone who ravaged universes, destroyed realities, killed human gods! Thinking of how presumptuous this mortal man was to him, he flew high in the sky, roaring at the praying Noah with newfound wrath.
Noah's mind was sent into disarray due to the roar, causing him to lose focus in his prayer, which then resulted in him losing the protection from the beast's suppression and falling down.
Seeing how helpless Noah was made Leviathan grow even more prideful. It cackled, reverberating all throughout the seas. The skies darkened sinisterly, and the rumblings of lightning and thunder became even greater.
Noah, on the other hand, managed to gain composure, resuming his prayer once more. This time, his body glowed, shining like a lone star in the dark sky of the night.
"My God is my power, the source of it all. I calleth upon His grace and glory to guide and be my pillar to stand against evil…"
Noah's murmuring was heard by Leviathan, who looked down at him angrily. "Futile resistance!" The Leviathan then inhaled before roaring at him once again.
"Hrghhhh…" Noah's body lowered, yet still resisted against the Leviathan's attack. The golden aura surrounding him dispersed a great amount of the pressure descending upon him.
"I calleth upon the Great God, The Princes, and The Heavenly Army to be by my side as I face this creature that defies the teachings of My God…" Noah prayed, this time, louder than ever before.
Amidst the darkest clouds, as Noah spoke with his holy words, a small gap was produced in the sky, shining upon his body with divine light. Although the light was small, it was enough to make Leviathan feel threatened.
"Graaagh!" The beast roared greater than ever before. The light dimmed as Noah fell back. Still, he returned and faced the enemy with determination on his face.
"I am a Servant of God! Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, all the faithful shall returneth to His embrace! I feel no fear nor subservience to the beast! All who opposeth the might of My God shall falleth beneath His feet!"
The light that dimmed grew and shined once again upon the faithful man. The Leviathan, now feeling a hint of fear, went on its attack, now in its fullest power.
Roar!
The dark seas swelled. Waves rose and fell, hitting Noah's boat, threatening to tear it down.
Still, no amount of force had the power to destroy Noah's boat as he stood on it.
Although Leviathan cannot do anything to him due to the protection from Him, it was the same case with Noah, as he still doesn't have enough power and control over the divine will to go against the beast that once dwelled in Inexistence.
