Upon hearing that, the two grandparents looked worriedly at her before saying, "Darling. That would put pressure on your body. You don't have to do that!" dissuading her from doing so.

"Grandpa and Grandma, I understand your worries, but there is no way I am entering that hall sitting in a wheelchair. Besides, walking for a short distance wouldn't cause me harm! You can ask these two?" she said as she looked at Emma and Ava, who had once witnessed her walking.
The two ladies sighed dejectedly before nodding reluctantly at the two elders.
"She can at most walk and be on her feet for thirty minutes max. If it's done more, then the risk of her being bedridden would return. So, letting her walk from here to the table wouldn't be an issue!" with so much struggle, Ava answered.
