After a successful shape-shifting, Eva turned to look at the prince and said. "I am done." Only then did the prince open the door and turn around to do the same for Eva.
Eva didn't say a word and silently followed behind the prince as he led the way into the silent territory. Upon reaching in, Eva's eyes widened. In the huge living room were several faces she could recognize.
She could see Trinity, Irene, the man from Crystal White Jayson had earlier identified as Mr Young and several other people.
"You need to rest, all of you." Jayson broke the silence as he walked upstairs.
"Yes, Alpha." They said in unison aside from Eva who seemed lost in her world.
Jayson seemed to have stopped in his tracks but eventually kept going. If only they knew the terrible state his wolf was in. If only they knew how scared he was of losing his only true companion yet there's nothing he could do.
