In the elevator Emmi is preoccupied thinking about when she believed he was Wang Hao. Deep in thought she doesn't notice Maisie entering the elevator carrying a brown bag.
She hears a familiar voice, "Why are you here?"
Emmi meets Maisie's unfriendly gaze. "Visiting a friend."
"Liu Ling?" Maisie isn't sure why but she is irritated at the thought. She went for a run then stopped at the corner stall to buy the meat buns Liu Ling seems to like. Seeing Emmi, she wants to throw them in the trash.
"No. He told me to come over tomorrow night."
Maisie clutches the brown bag. Now she wants to throw them at Emmi's face.
"Who do you know who lives here?"
The elevator door opens and Emmi dodges the question and cheerfully says, "See you tomorrow night."
When she exits she holds her heart, Maisie would definitely tell Bai Cai!
