"Do you think you can show us the goods, and we will do anything you want us to do?" the drug lord said to her, his hand in his pocket. As he walked towards her, his face was revealed, but he had a mask on to hide his identity.
Seeing this, Ji-Won looked at him, frustrated that she couldn't see his face.
In the shadows, we saw one of his men take out a gun from his pocket, ready to shoot at her. Then, a gunshot rang out.
"Bang!"
"AHHHH!"
Ji-Won fired at the right-hand man, causing him to shout in pain. Taking advantage of the chaos, the drug dealer blew sand into Ji-Won's eyes as he approached her, attempting to take her gun. To his surprise, she held onto it tightly. The left-hand man also tried to help his boss, but Ji-Won pulled the trigger, firing a bullet at him.
"Bang!"
Witnessing this, the Drug Lord pulled out an 8-inch blade without her noticing and stabbed her in the stomach, causing a severe injury. Blood started to drip from her wound. The drug lord saw this as an opportunity to finish her off, but knowing her background, he took her gun and shot his right-hand man.
"Sorry, my friend. You worked for me for a long time, but now you have to go." Without wasting any time, he fired at him.
"Bang!"
Then, he left the warehouse and headed towards a parked Benz car. He sat in the driver's seat, started the car, and drove away.
Outside, the taxi that Ji-Won had arrived in was nowhere to be found. The driver had already left when he heard the first gunshot, followed by the second. He quickly started the car and drove away.
Inside the warehouse, Ji-Won sat on the floor in immense pain, blood dripping from her wound. She struggled to move her body but couldn't find her phone. She remembered leaving it in the taxi when she called for backup. With great bravery, she approached the dead man and used his shirt to bandage her injury. She then made her way towards the warehouse gate to escape. However, when she reached the gate, she realized the taxi was no longer there. Instead, she saw a signboard indicating a shortcut through the forest towards the main road where the bus stop was. Determined, she gritted her teeth and started moving towards the forest road, which was muddy and pitch black, in the hope that she would find a bus, people, or even a telephone booth to call for help.
She looked up at the moon, shining brightly in the dark night, illuminating everything except the inside of the forest. She closed her eyes for a moment, took a deep breath, and opened them with determination. She continued moving through the jungle.
Meanwhile, her team members had taken control of the situation with the help of the backup force. They forced Sergeant Park to go to the hospital for treatment because of his heavy injury from the bullet and then headed towards the location where they found Ji-Won's mobile phone with all the backup. They checked the phone's location, but it kept changing. Eun-Ho informed Detective Kim and Sergeant Choi about this.
"Sir, ma'am's location is changing. She is moving from the outskirts of Seoul towards us," Eun-Ho said.
"Doesn't this mean she caught all of them and is coming towards us now?" Sergeant Choi exclaimed in surprise.
"I don't think it's that simple," Detective Kim replied, placing his hand on his chin thoughtfully. Eun-Ho and Sergeant Park seemed to understand and agree with Detective Kim's words.
"Then what does her coming towards us mean?" Eun-Ho asked Detective Kim, questioning him.
"We'll find out when we reach the location," Detective Kim said, signaling Sergeant Choi to speed up the car. They headed towards the given location at full speed.
On the jungle road, we saw Ji-Won in the middle of the road. She caught a glimpse of light and saw it coming from the front. She felt a sense of relief. Blood continued to drip from her clothes, which were stained with her own blood. Her face had turned pale, but she didn't stop moving towards the end of the road.
There we saw that Ji-Won finally managed to come out of the forest, and when she emerged, she was very happy and went towards the roadside. There, she also saw a phone booth and, excited and in her pain and dizziness, she went towards the other side of the road without stopping. Then, when she had taken only three steps, she heard a horn from a car. She took a look at the car, and the headlights flashed on her face, causing her to be disoriented and fall to the ground. She saw the car coming towards her
