Chapter 14 - Unification of the world

Year 1719

After emerging victorious in a fierce battle against the allied army of the five kingdoms, the aurions had a moment of respite before setting off towards the final conquest – the elven forest, elrion.

This was the last place that needed to be conquered in order for their kingdom to have complete control of the world.

The previous battle had been a monumental one, with 800,000 troops from the five kingdoms coming together to take on the aurion army.

However, the aurions, being able to use magic and aura, were able to effectively combat the largely human army of their enemies.

As a result, their casualties were surprisingly low with only 20,000 lives lost in the battle. This was because while aurion army was using aura and magic, while the allied army were just regular humans.

Year 1720

As the new year dawned in 1720, the aurion army set out towards their ultimate goal – the elven forest.

Their journey was made easier by the fact that the elves and the west had maintained good relations and had built proper roads for trade.

In just about a year, the aurions reached the borders of the vast elven forest.

As they entered the forest, the aurions were greeted by a magnificent sight.

A large city, built around a giant tree that seemed to touch the clouds, welcomed them.

This was the first and only city of the elves and it was where all of them lived.

The aurion soldiers were in awe of the beauty and grandeur of this elven city, but they knew they had to quickly prepare themselves for the upcoming battle.

First day of the battle

It was a cold and misty morning when the 80,000 strong army of Aurion Kingdom approached the gates of the Elvish city.

The sound of drums and war cries echoed through the once serene forest as the army made their way towards the city.

Their armor glinted in the dim light, their weapons at the ready, and their aura users emitting a pulsing glow around them and their weapons.

The sun was setting over the kingdom of elves, casting a golden light onto the treetops and picturesque houses.

But the tranquility was soon to be shattered by the approaching army of Aurion, an ambitious and powerful kingdom known for their skilled aura users and mages.

As the army marched through the forest, their heavy footsteps echoed through the otherwise quiet surroundings.

The army consisted of 80,000 soldiers, each trained to be fearless and relentless in battle. They wore white armor adorned with silver accents, a symbol of their kingdom's strength and power. Their weapons gleamed in the fading sunlight, a sharp contrast to the softness of the elven kingdom.

The elves were informed about the invading army like the kingdoms of west and were prepared to defend their home.

However, they were no match for the sheer numbers and magical abilities of the Aurion army.

The elves had an army of 100,000 soldiers, but they lacked the aura users and mages that the Aurion army have. They could only rely on their bravery and skills with conventional weapons.

The confrontation between the two armies took place in a vast field, just outside the elven city.

The sky was now a deep shade of purple, signaling the beginning of the battle. The elves stood firm, their spears and bows aimed at the approaching Aurion army.

The aura users of the Aurion kingdom stood at the front, their weapons radiating with their aura. The mages were spread strategically throughout the army, ready to unleash their spells at a moment's notice.

The battle began with a fierce clash, as the two armies collided with a deafening roar.

The elves were skilled warriors, but they were no match for the aura users of Aurion. The aura users swiftly incapacitated the elven soldiers with their powers, leaving them vulnerable to the brutal attacks of the Aurion soldiers.

The mages unleashed a barrage of spells, causing explosions and chaos within the elven ranks.

The once peaceful field was now a scene of bloodshed and destruction. The air was filled with the sounds of screams, clashes of weapons, and the crackling of magic.

The elves fought with all their might, but they were outnumbered and overpowered quickly. The Aurion army was relentless in their attack, with no mercy shown to their enemies.

As the battle raged on, the elves were slowly losing ground. Their numbers were dwindling, and their morale was weakening.

The ground was littered with the bodies of fallen soldiers, both elven and Aurion. The rivers ran red with blood, and the trees were scorched from the powerful spells of the mages.

Amidst the chaos, there were countless brutal scenes of violence and gore. Soldiers were impaled on spears and swords, their lifeless bodies left to rot on the battlefield.

Some were burned alive by the powerful fire spells of the Aurion mages. Others had their limbs torn off by the raging aura users. It was a sight that would haunt even the bravest of soldiers.

Despite the odds, the elves fought on, but as the battle continue it become clear that they were no match for the Aurion army. As the sun began to set, signaling the end of the day and the war.

The remaining elves could do nothing but watch as their city fell to the Aurion army. The once beautiful elven city was now in ruins, with flames engulfing their homes and buildings.

The Aurion army emerged victorious, their white armor now stained with the blood of their enemies. They had decimated the elven army and unified the whole world.

What followed the Aurion victory was a massacre in the elven city. Anyone who was carrying arms or tried to stop the Aurion army was brutally killed. As the army reached the royal palace in the city, they caught the Elven King, Elphion, and he was publicly executed along with the members of the seven noble houses.

Elves who tried to stop the Aurion army from burning their houses were also burned down with their homes. Blood flowed through the streets profusely, and in the end, the church's flag was fluttering on the highest building in the elven city.

Although the Aurion kingdom has unified the world, but they do not know that the bloodshed they have seen and committed until now was just child's play compared to what would happen in the near future.
