Chapter 13 - Chapter 12: Waiting for the Matching Result

"Ha ha ha ha! "

Seeing their reactions, Lyre laughed and said loudly, "Guys, snap out of it!"

Hearing Lyre's laughter, the sentinels finally snapped out of their dazed state.

"Ry, your beautiful smile can really be used as a weapon! You can just smile at them, and they'll even forget what they're supposed to do.

"ha ha ha ha!" Lyre continued laughing. It's really fun seeing the reactions of other people to Ryzel's smile.

"Lyre, can you stop laughing already?" Ryzel said while looking at the embarrassed sentinels who couldn't even meet his eyes.

Seeing their reactions, Ryzel can't help but smile helplessly before resuming his serious expression.

He was already used to the reactions of the people around him when he smiled. Most of them would be dazed for a while.

That's why, most of the time, he just maintains his serious expression.

"Don't worry, everyone! I'm also a guide, and it took me months before I was used to Ry's smile," Lyre said jokingly. But it was also true that it took him months before he was used to Ryzel's beautiful smile.

Once Ryzel smiles, his whole face will become more radiant, and the mole below his left eye will be more emphasized, along with his blue eyes. His perfect face becomes more pronounced, having a greater impact on the viewers.

Ryzel was just beautiful when he was wearing a serious expression, but once he smiled, he would become enchanting. That's why, even for a guide like Lyre, it took him a lot of time before he was used to Ryzel's smiling face.

"I'm really sorry, but it's really rare to see a fairy's smile," Mark said, smiling embarrassedly.

"Yeah! It was the first time I saw Ryzel smile in the four years he stayed in the academy," another sentinel said.

"Do you want to see another one?" Lyre teased.

All the sentinels shook their heads. If they saw another smile, they might be enchanted, which is not good for all of them, especially for Ryzel, who still doesn't have a partner.

"No need; the damage might be too much for us to bear," Mark said jokingly.

"Can you stop treating me as if I'm not here?" Ryzel said seriously.

"We're sorry!" Mark apologized. It's not that they are ignoring him. They just can't look directly at him for fear of being reminded of his smile again.

"It's okay; I understand. I'll repeat it again; I will be giving everyone a stabilizing potion and a soothing potion," Ryzel repeated, knowing that what he said a while ago wasn't processed by them.

"You actually don't have to bother. But we will gratefully receive it. Thank you very much!" Mark said while smiling.

Mark knew how effective the potions Ryzel made were because he was a frequent visitor to their pharmaceutical department.

Most of the potions Ryzel made were used as a reward for different competitions held by sentinels.

Mark was the one who was assigned to get the potions. That's why he knew who was the source of the potions.

"No need to say thanks. I should be the one saying thank you to everyone for spending your time on a match test," Ryzel said, seriously.

"Hey, why are you even saying thank you again to each other? Just accept it, and it's done, right?"Lyre said.

Before Ryzel could say something to refute what Lyre said, the bionic assistant started calling for the sentinels.

Ryzel, accompanied by Lyre, stayed at the matching center for a whole day to give away the potions he made and to personally say thank you to every sentinel who came for the matching test.

Instead of receiving the results every thirty minutes, Ryzel opted for the center to send all the results tomorrow morning.

The sentinels would receive the results individually as usual, while Ryzel would give a summary of all the results of the matching test.

"Ry, did you receive the result already?" Lyre eagerly asked.

"It's not yet even seven o'clock; of course, the results haven't been sent yet," Ryzel replied to Lyre, who was suddenly in his apartment.

To know the results without being delayed for a minute, Lyre went to his apartment very early in the morning.

"At least half of the sentinels should have more than fifty percent (50%) matching rate with you, right?

It's necessary for you to choose one with a good family.

The sentinel should be more than capable.

The sentinel should be good-looking.

More importantly, the sentinel should have a good personality.

Ry, what specifics do you want your partner to have?"

"What specifics are you talking about? I already told you that as long as they can withstand the power of my family, other details don't matter," Ryzel replied nonchalantly.

"Ry, what are you saying?! That sentinel would be your partner for life! You should choose carefully!" Lyre said with a loud voice while shaking her.

"Besides, there are at least ten (10) high-level sentinels on the list of those whose families are more than capable of giving a headache to your family.

What if all of them passed the thirty percent (30%) benchmark?

Who will you choose?

Of course, it's not possible to choose them all.

That's why I am asking what you want so that I can observe them in the interview later."

"If they are all capable of resisting my family, then I'll just choose the one with the highest compatibility rate with me. There's no need to choose from other details," Ryzel insisted.

"Are you sure? You don't have any preferences for your future partner? " Lyre asked again.

"I don't care. Besides, people change, even if I have my preferences and choose according to them. Are you confident that they will still be the same for twenty (20) years?"

Hearing what Ryzel said, Lyre raised his hands in surrender.

"Okay, I lost. You can just choose however you want. It's your partner anyway."

Before Ryzel could say more, Star gave a notification.

"Master, the matching center has a message for you."

"Oh! Finally, the results are here!

Open it now, Ryzel!" Lyre said. Acting more excited than Ryzel, who was the one looking for a partner.
