"Walker, keep up, or those Ethon bastards are gonna grab the remaining seats," a voice said in a hurried tone.
"Quit your whining, man. Those guys know what's gonna happen if they try that. Greengate's not gonna let them," a dark-haired boy said with a lollipop in his mouth.
"You guys are so annoying, you know that?" Another boy said.
The three of them were all dressed in the same uniforms: black jackets, white-sleeved inner shirts, and black pants. Instead of the normal black shoes, they all wore white Adilette with black stripes. They were your average high school delinquents, well, not technically. They don't get into fights because they want to, but only when they feel like it's the right thing to do.
The boy with the lollipop in his mouth was Lloyd Walker. He considered himself the leader of their school little gang, although the other two didn't really think of him as their superior; they did give him some level of respect.
Lloyd had dark hair that covered both his eyes, but even with that, he was considered one of the most handsome boys in his school, and by his body structure, he had the body build of an athlete.
And the last was Ace Miller, the smartest of the bunch. He was among the brightest students at Westbridge High (the school they attended). He had blonde hair, which was well-kept and lined all back; his eyes were light brown in color, and his left ear had three earrings which made him look more attractive.
"Take this alley; it's a shortcut," Lloyd said.
They decided to go with Lloyd's decision because it was quicker than the normal route they were used to. Some seconds after they entered the alley, a group of boys—twenty, to be precise—were coming from the opposite direction.
The three boys halted in their steps because they knew who the people that had just entered were. The sound of footsteps could be heard from behind them, and behold, another group of about fifteen boys entered.
The students in front were dressed in the same uniforms as Lloyd and his friends, except their jackets were purple, and the group behind wore green jackets. Most of them held iron pipes and baseball bats as weapons.
From the crowd of students wearing purple jackets emerged a bald and very muscular boy. He wasn't wearing any jackets, only sleeves that were folded up till his lower elbows.
"Sin, you bastard. Jumping on us when we are alone, gotta say man you're a real idiot," Lloyd said.
"Bold words Lloyd, bold words," a voice said from behind.
A boy was standing in front of the green jacket students with both hands in his pockets and smiling.
"Alex, I thought we had a truce?" Zeke asked clearly angry from his tone.
"A truce. A truce is a fragile word Zeke. A word that can be broken at any time," the boy replied. "Enough talking, get them boys."
"You heard Alex, get them." The boy known as Sin shouted.
The first one that got close tried swinging his bat at Ace but was met with a kick to the head from Ace, and knocked him out instantly.
The others were shocked at this; no one even took another step forward.
"Who's next?" Ace asked staring angrily at Alex.
Alex himself wasn't shocked because they were nicknamed 'The Superhumans' by the schools they've fought with. He gave a wide grin.
"There's only three of them. We're more than ten times their number," Alex said.
Somehow what Alex said brought them out of their shock, and they began walking toward Lloyd and his friends slowly because they were still scared.
The first guy swung his pipe at Lloyd, shifting his body to the side he dodged and grabbed his head and slammed his head on his kneel also knocking him out.
Another tried hitting Lloyd from behind but Zeke caught it under his arm and used the other hand to deliver a painful elbow to the face, letting go of the bat due to pain Zeke used the bat and knocked him out.
Slowly they were reducing the numbers all by themselves. A guy ran empty-handed towards Ace and was met with a spinning back leg kick at his head that made him crash into the wall.
After about five minutes of continuous fighting, all three of them were exhausted and covered in blood. And out of thirty-five boys who came, only about twelve were left standing.
Seeing his people go down one by one, Sin at the climax of his anger ran straight for Lloyd.
"Didn't think you had the guts to join the party, Sin," Lloyd taunted.
Sin threw out his fist wildly at Lloyd, but he parried it away and punched Sin right at his stomach. Blood gushed out from his mouth, and he gritted his teeth in pain. Before he could react, Lloyd grabbed onto his head and slammed it on his kneel before planting his fist right in front of his face, knocking out Sin.
As soon as Sin landed on the ground, the others halted whatever they were doing, and all their attention was turned to Lloyd.
He ran his hand over his hair showing his pale red eyes and a menacing grin was plastered all over his face.
"Who's next?" Lloyd asked.
Everyone was in a state of fear when they looked into Lloyd's eyes, even Alex felt fear. He had heard stories about demons, and now he was looking at one.
Lloyd landed his eyes on Alex and he walked towards him. As he walked closer to Alex, those who were in his way gave him space. The fear he felt before was nothing compared to what he felt now. Every cell in his body was screaming RUN; this person is dangerous but his body wasn't moving or obeying his commands.
"He- He- Hey Lloyd, let's fi- fi- fi- figure this out. How 'bout a truce. Si- Sin made me do it," Alex stuttered.
Just when Lloyd was a few meters away from Alex, he felt something on both shoulders. It was Zeke and Ace.
"That's enough Lloyd," Zeke said.
Lloyd turned his head towards them and let out a sigh.
"You guys are so anno-"
Before he could finish talking, his vision went blurry, and he collapsed. Slowly his vision went darker and darker, but before it went completely dark, he saw everyone around him also collapsing.
The sound of birds singing and chirping and gusts of wind woke him up.
He opened his pale red eyes, staring at the beautiful blue skies covered in with white clouds.
In truth, he wasn't actually looking at the skies but something else entirely.

"What the heck is this?" Lloyd shouted in surprise.
He quickly got up and looked around. To his surprise, he was in a forest, and lying on the ground was Zeke and Ace.
"Why can't you bastards let me sleep in peace," Ace blurted out.
He also got up, rubbing the back of his head. When he finally opened his eyes, he was left in a trance-like state.
