"Can you give up the throne for me?" Helen asked as she stared directly at Ragon's eyes with her piercing gaze while waiting patiently for his answer.
"No," Ragon answered plainly. There was no need to go around in circles with his words when he knew Helen already knew his obvious answer but still decided to ask him.
"You can assure me Alfred's safety if I accept to become your queen, but can you assure me I'll be the only woman you'll have when you're king?" Helen asked again and her question left Ragon speechless.
Coming down from the last stairs, she stood at Ragon's side. "I guess you can't." Taking a once glance at him, "I refuse to be your queen." Helen said and started walking towards the door leaving Ragon alone with his thoughts.
