Vincent stood at the door of Mrs Pedro's hospital room with his left hand in his pocket. He had the authority to enter without knocking just like he did earlier with Kelvin but instead, he decided to tread carefully with his plans.
Knocking on the door twice, he heard a feminine voice telling him to "come in" in a ​missive tone and he opened the door.
Entering the room, he saw a woman on the hospital bed with a seating posture. From her appearance, she looked like she was in her late forties or early fifties but observing her Vincent couldn't see any resemblance to Ashlyn except the fact that she was also beautiful.
"Am I in the wrong room? Or did she get changed to another room?" Vincent couldn't help but think. He was expecting to see someone having much resemblance to Ashlyn but it was different. "Did Ashlyn resemble are father instead?"
