"Are you sure we shouldn't involve the police?" Owen asked still feeling unsettled. He was still at Ashlyn's house with Kait who acted like nothing was happening.
"I've told you Owen. There's no need to involve the police now. It's not even up to twenty-four hours so let's just calm down and wait for her." Kait said calmly as she continued playing game on her phone. She wasn't bothered not because she didn't care but because she had an instinct that Ashlyn was safe and she knew her instincts was never wrong.
"Kait..." Owen called gently, trying to regain his composure. "Is there something you know that you're not telling me?"
Hearing Owen's question, Kait lifted her eyes and looked at Owen. "What are you trying to say Owen?"
