(Ryse's POV)

As my father settled my engagement with Killian the crown prince he intended to dethrone them and become the king but I on the other hand was planning to finally enter a household of people who actually cared about me. The day before the wedding my brother and father had both clearified the plan to me of how I would send them confidential information about the the king so he could launch an attack I acted as if I was interested but really I had no intentions of helping them after I became the crown princess I would completely disown them that was the least I could do after all the years of abuse they had made me go through.

I could not believe my parents had engaged me to the daughter of their rival . Whom I had expected to be just as greedy , selfish and fake as him and his son . I would never trust her ,how dare she enter my castle but alas I could not degrace my parents . But what about enid....

I was furious how could my Killian be wedded to the rivals daughter . I had always been the most perfect child to the royal family and I would treat ryse as an equal my only intention should be to respect her and not to make her hate me .
