The promise to save the villain

A peaceful life without any bloodshed, that’s the only dream left for Mr. Kim, a former gangster. Using his savings, he bought a nice apartment and started running a small bookstore. As everything seemed to be going smoothly, he met a high schooler named Ah Yeon, the one who was destined to turn his peaceful life upside down. Learning about her background and feeling pity for the child, who been suffering from abuse and bullying, he offered her a job at his bookstore. Over time, they grew closer, almost like family. Reading was her hobby, and because of that, she often recommended novels to him. One of those novels was 'The Death Note'—a romantic yet revenge-filled story, full of kidnapping, abuse, killing, mafia... and it all revolved around three main characters. Initially uninterested, he picked it up on a boring day. When she saw him reading the novel, she asked him a curious question. “From the main three characters, who would you save, if you ever got the chance?” “No one…” he replied without much thought. “What? Why?” “How can someone save a fictional character? Use your brain.” “I know it’s just a story; that’s why I’m asking as if. What if we transmigrate to another world and get the chance? If I could, I would save the villain. He is just like me..." Her eyes reflected sorrow as she said it. Few days later, news reached to Mr. Kim that the girl had committed suicide after murdering her stepfather. That day, for some reasons he kept the book with him, but the next day, he was dumbfounded to find himself in the body of a teenage girl who had been tortured terribly. Slowly, Kim realized the world was strikingly similar to the novel, The Death Note. However, there was no mention of his new name Yoon-Jung. So, he concludes it as an extra with no importance. To escape from the terrible circumstances, he reverted to being the old Kim he once was. And his fate, eventually lead hm to the villain, Ah Yuan. [He was yet to become the villain.] Ah Yuan reminded him of Ah Yeon. From the depths of his heart, Kim wished to save him. But in a world where he was struggling to survive himself, could he truly save Ah Yuan from his tragic fate?

Artemis has no clue that a bigger war is coming which will set out kingdoms on fire, Aurora has seen it in her dreams and it's for the Sweet Waters Throne in Maldonia. The end is uncertain but the ways are clearer, who will sit on the throne after the war to end all wars. The Bastard who's been denied his true claim to the Sweet Waters throne with the mighties fleet in the world and King Artemis of Maldonia who has Aurora and dragons breathing fire. ~ Excerpt Scene ~ "Are you ready? A dragon is not a horse my love" Aurora expressed her concerns. "The dragons are ready to be claimed, Your Grace. I think it’s the perfect time for Artodo to take the skies and be claimed. He and the King have great relationship. He just needs to understand the words that’s all. "Torgo explained while looking at both Aurora and Artemis. "I understand the words." Said Artemis. "Incendio for fire and Valar for him to fly. I know some Low Moor too." It seemed Aurora wasn’t easily convinced, "Knowing the language of our ancestors doesn’t mean you can hang on to the dragon and take to the skies, especially since you are not just practicing. You are taking the dragon to the Mines, in clear daylight." "Exactly, that is the only way we can silence Lord Leoric. I cannot let him take advantage of my sister, I have to try…" Visera interrupted. "He’s ready, I can see it in his eyes." She said with a smirk. Aurora ordered Torgo. "Bring him outside," in Low Moor. Torgo nodded and walked inside the darkened cave with a fire torch. All five dragons were inside the cave perfectly chained. He went after Artodo, the biggest of them all. The black beast, standing at forty feet from head to tail with a wingspan of twenty feet. A terrifying beast to even stare at. Artemis took two deep breaths. "According to my ancestors history, the youngest dragon rider to ever took the skies was ten years old. You’ll be fine." Aurora teased Artemis after she noticed how nervous he was. The dragon keepers placed a saddle on Artodo’s back and two strong handles made of iron and wood for Artemis to hang on to. Then, finally Aurora walked to Artodo — the black beast. She pulled in Artemis and they both touched the dragon’s right eye, soothing him before the take off. "This is your rider now Artodo, you are to obey him from this day forward to the last, as your mother commands." Aurora said this is Low Moor while the dragon hissed slowly. The dragon hissed and Aurora took it a sign that Artodo understood him. She took a step back and let Artemis take over. These two weren’t strangers to one another. Artemis’s touch wasn’t strange to Artodo and he silently lowered his left wingspan for Artemis to climb up. Carefully and slowly, Artemis mounted the black beast. It was no secret that he was scared. When he was on top of the dragon, Artemis smiled looking down and he suddenly exclaimed. "You all look like tiny bees from up here!" Aurora, Visera, Torgo and the dragon keepers laughed. Aurora walked to him and they looked at each other. Their dream finally came true; "Promise me, you’ll come back alive." Said Aurora. "I promise." "And that you will not burn the Mines to the ground. If she disagrees with you, perhaps it’s time to let her go." This was what Artemis truly needed to hear so he may stop his obsession with saving his sister. When he was ready, he shouted to Artodo. "Valar Artodo," and right there the dragon’s feet pounded the ground heavy as it prepared for takeoff.

When Ellara was five years old, her mother died in childbirth. Her unfaithful father not only seized her mother’s inheritance but abandoned Ellara, leaving her to fend for herself in exile. On a stormy night, she stood in the pouring rain, accepting the blade handed to her by the man across from her. That moment marked her entry into MOON—a powerful yet enigmatic organization. The man claimed to be a friend of her mother, but Ellara didn’t care. The only thing that mattered to her was whether, one day, she could wield the blade of revenge against her father. Seraphina, too, once had a happy and loving family. But a devastating fire consumed everything she held dear. She knew that behind the flames lay a tangled web of power and conspiracy. From that day, she swore to uncover the truth. Ellara and Seraphina crossed paths on their journeys of vengeance, forging a deep bond as they supported each other. Together, they shattered layer upon layer of deceit, only to unveil an even greater conspiracy lurking in the shadows. One day, an official of the International Federation was assassinated, throwing the organization into chaos. Days later, the headquarters of a notorious arms dealer exploded, and its leader was found dead. The Federation was in an uproar again. Amid the growing turmoil, Ellara leaned against the wall, twirling a knife lazily between her fingers. “Can’t they give me something more interesting next time?” Without missing a beat, Seraphina tossed a file at her. “Sure. Here’s a task for you—babysit.” Ellara glanced skeptically at the subject of this so-called task: a high school girl standing smugly atop a pile of defeated thugs, her foot pressing down on someone’s head with unapologetic arrogance. “You sure this one needs me to babysit?” Ellara asked dryly. Seraphina smirked. “Have fun.”
